Mouse problem. Help pls.

Recently got a logitech g500 but it doesn't work with my cloth mousepad. What would be a good mousepad to get for it?
Also, I noticed that the DPI really ****s around with the sensitivity so what DPI should I keep it at?

Im using the G9x , keep your dpi 1000 and below , reporting rate 500 , mouse sensitivity doesnt really matters lool , just keep playing until u figured it out the correct setting u want , I have to play with it for like an hour be4 I know which I like best :] Im using 800 DPI , 0 sens in game and 4~5 when not playing the game since 0 I cant move the pointer at all when not in game lool ( 0 sens in CF setting as well ) , try to buy the hard surface type for the mouse pad !
