GP Gaining Guide - For "Newbies"

gpguideheadline.png

This guide is for players whom are new, or in constant need for GP for whatever reason, this guide will cover the basics of getting GP at a decent rate w/o buying ZP.
Note - I wont be including ZP surveys (ZP > GP) if it is requested I'll made a guide and somewhat link it to this thread

Before you create your account, you should have a friend to refer you to the game, because you will gain a GP gain. Follow these steps:

• Have your friend invite you to game by them logging in and going to this link Invite a Friend.
•Have them invite you by E-Mail and accept, and join the game.
• Log in to the game for the first time, and only buy your character - you decide which one, it doesn't matter.
• Rank up and gain the bonus'!
(For this to work, you must be able to create an account in this game version, if not sorry this wont work for you.)

Now you're in game, you should focus on ranking and breaking your starter weapons (M16 and M700) you can damage your weapons by going into most game modes, but I would recommend either Team Deathmatch or FFA. (To thoose who enjoy Escape Mode, you can play that too.)

You should break your M16 and M700 because you will gain 10,000 GP from each, once fully broken, also breaking the guns may take a while, but is worth it!

Also you should never sell your Granades! These are vital equipment, and you'll only kick yourself when you need to buy them back, as it is a rip off, when selling.

Plus you should never re-sell weapons, once you've bought a weapon, never sell it, even if you don't use it, one day you may want to buy it back, therefore lossing a lot of GP over all.

You should have a friend refer you to the game for the main reason of gaining GP! At different ranks you will recieve different rewards, this is what you will recieve at the following ranks:

• Corporal Rank - You will recieve 2,000 GP and a 7 day SG522 - your friend will recieve 1,500 GP.
• Sergeant Rank Class 4 - You will recieve 5,000 GP and a 7 day M12s - your friend will recieve 3,500 GP.
• Staff Sergeant Rank Class 4 - You will recieve 8,000 GP and 10 M16s-C crates - your friend will recieve 6,000 GP.
• SFC Rank Class 1 - You will recieve 2,500 ZP and a 30 day M4A1 Advanced.

Why are these guns helpful you may be thinking, these weapons are helpful because you can break these for further GP! I don't exactly know how much GP you will recieve from breaking the weapons however you will average about 2,000 GP per weapon broke. Also you will recieve 10 M16s Camo crates, this will be good because you can gain GP and other temporary weapons, which can be broken too! You can earn a whole load of GP if you get lucky. On the odd chance of you winning the M16s Camo just break it, it is a worthless gun. Finally you will recieve 2,500 ZP, this is great because you can decide on wether to spin two ZP crates of your choice, or to do one ZP survey and have about 2,600 ZP overall, this will mean you can buy 20,000 GP! In the ZP crates, you can either win from a range of 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, 10,000, 50,000, 100,000, 200,000 or 1,000,000 GP! (The chances of a high rate of GP is rare, but you never know.)

I'd like to add that you should aim for getting the last kill and MVP in any modes which these are avaliable in. This is because you earn 20 exp for just getting the last kill, this is good because the Refer a Friend will only last 30 days, so each XP counts.

MVP earns you 100 exp, this is game changing especially with the current EXP rates.

You may be thinking the following question, "Why should I missions yarrH?" you should do the daily missions because you will recieve 500 GP per daily mission, and most of the time the mission is easy! You will also gain a "Dogtag" letter each day, which can be exchanged (once the word "Cross Fire" has been spelled out, the prize is changed a lot, but it is normally a 90 day weapon, you can just break this and gain more GP! This may take a while, but it adds up! For example, on a normal month you'll earn 15,000 GP from just doing the Daily Missions each day, and this isn't counting all the GP you get from playing regularly. Do not think this is a waste of time, this is because it isn't. Whilst grinding for GP paitence is key, GP isn't something that comes easy, unless you buy ZP often. Make a goal, such as 10k GP, and stick to it. You could easily get this in a few days of grinding GP from Hero Mode.

You can gain GP rewards from Badge Rewards! These are the following rewards:

• Solider Badge C3: 2,000 GP
• Soldier Badge C2: 5,000 GP
• Sniper Badge C3: 2,000 GP
• Sniper Badge C2: 5,000 GP
• Scout Badge C3: 2,000 GP
• Scout Badge C2: 5,000 GP
• Assassin Badge C3: 2,000 GP
• Assassin Badge C2: 5,000 GP
• Elite Badge C3: 2,000 GP
• Elite Badge C2: 5,000 GP
• Elite Badge C1: 30,000 GP
• Elite Badge B3: 50,000 GP

Don't expect to gain these rewards so easily! Badges are hard for a reason, this is so you don't gain so much GP, so easily. Stick to a goal of a badge, and do it. I would suggest doing your badge's through Team Death Match, as this will give you good GP, gives you the chance to break guns quick whilst doing it, and is also fun! Also you don't just get GP, futher down the badge line you gain weapons too, which you can break for even more GP, thus making the Badge Rwards a vital way of getting GP.

Also I'd like to add, if you have 6 computers, or have 5 other friends, you could farm for your badge, thus making more money. Farming can be considered as noobie and is frowned upon by some, however this is very profitable, each game you make a few hundred GP, and you'll get Badges really quick!

Mutant Mode/Hero Mode

In the game type Mutant Mode and Hero Mode you do not have to repair your weapons, therefore any GP you recieve from that game type is 100% profit, therefore if you're grinding you should focus on playing this mode, unless you're breaking the starter weapons or temporary weapons.

Also MM/HM often comes up for the daily missions, so this is even more profit!

HMX/MM/HM is also very risky, you can often get kicked by low levels, who reckon you hack, for either doing good, or killing them, be careful. Also if you're planning on playing HMX, I advise trying to camp in different spots each round, making them hard to get too, and "campy", thus giving you more kills, and enjoyment.
Zombie Mode

Zombie Mode is a great way to earn all kinds of weapons, items and GP! Once completing a ZM game, you will earn a crate (if you have earn a certain amount of points) and in these crate(s) you can win weapons! From the weapons, you can do the same with the temporary weapons you already have, break them! You're earning more money, and ZM is rather enjoyable. Be ware that there is currently a hacking spree going on, and the hackers will one hit hack, therefore giving you less chance of getting good crates. I would still advise this as it is good GP!

For an in-depth ZM guide, please check out: DurDom's Ultimate ZM Guide!
Ghost Mode/Knife Matches

Ghost Mode is a great way to earn GP too! (Black List) This is because all the money you make is 100% profitable, and GM is rather fun, and easy if you're facing "not so good" players, who don't have the best game sense. Since I've covered the basics, please check out: Madanki's Professional Ghost Mode Guide!

Also on Global Risk if you're a decent player, and don't spray you can earn some good GP, this being 90-200 GP profit per game, I've recently been playing a lot of Ghost Mode as Global Risk, and I've been making 200 GP profit per game, this making it a great mode if you can pinpoint! Please check out: Madanki's Professional Ghost Mode Guide!

Knife matches are fun too! They require little skill and give out good GP too, since this is 100% profitable, due to not having to repair your guns. Also you can use the "Kris" or "Warmonger Fists" from the Zombie Mode rewards, as these are good weapons for Knife Matches. Anyway, I've covered the basics again, so please check out: [MOD]Nonnen's Ultimate Melee Guide!
Elimination Mode

In Elimination Modes, you can play games and don't damage your weapons (excluding Columbia and Prison), you earn a decent amount of GP by doing this, the maps that it works on are the following:

• Alaska
• Cross Roads
• Terminal
• Arena*
• Arena 2*
• Tombstone
• Season Maps (Halloween - Christmas)

These are the maps which you earn 100% free GP and all of it you keep! No repairing guns! It all free. You'll find a lot of hackers playing in this mode though, for the reason of them using guns which are on the floor, making it unfair. The GP is decent however I would avoid this mode if you're playing in Rookie Server, UK1 or Alpha.
