Requesting Advice

I am currently using the SCAR heavy and pretty happy with it but soon I will like a different weapon. I'm looking for a weapon that is very accurate but can deal heavy damage with low recoil. Any suggestions would be appreaciated.

Hmm, thanks for the imput. How about the XM8 or Thompson. Are these guns worth it? These guns kinda caught me attention while playing.

xm8 is secondary to the Scar light, and the Thompson is only good at short range, or so i've heard.

Thanks for your advice. I really appreaciate it. Another question: Which secondary weapon should I get? Desert Eagle or Ancanda or somethin. Or should I even bother with a pistol?

if you bother with a second wep...get the anaconda, you only get the desert eagle if ur desperate or just dumb (especially if you have the money to buy an anaconda)

thompson is a smg, it's similar to mp5
it's a gun to play around in small maps, but not in serious games
scarL is strong and easy to use

scar light and desert eagle, if you cant afford the deagle, get the p228,

strength and low recoil? since you were already using a scarH i would've suggested an ak47 (like me) but since you want a low recoil gun, I recommend a scarL.
the anaconda is fun to use and good to practice headshots with, but just go with a deagle

either the scar-light if you dont care about your reputation or the xm8 if you like low-recoil, easy to use, and accurate guns. in terms of a secondary, get a deagle if you want power and speed or the anaconda if you like a slower ROF, greater power, and more accuracy.

try going on alaska to try out guns, then make a decision

as someone whose owned and used every gun
i suggest either the xm8 or the scar light

if you're good at long range headshots - scar light
if you like a nice tight spray pattern - xm8

Thanks for all the advice. I will just now have to make a descison between the ScarL or XM8. So far I'm leaning to ScarL.

If you have a good game sense buy the XM8 for its wallshots (boxes , wood etc.)
You cant go wrong Basically inbetween m4a1 and scar light.

One other question. Sorry if it's a noob question but how do you obtain the Thompson? I didn't see it in the weapon shop (unless I missed it). Thompson might be helpful for me for my close in rushes and the ScarL for when I want fight at a distance. How does this sound?

Thompson is in the GP crates.. its a gamble and could leave you with 0 gp. GG.

I say the Thompson for sure. I have and like the Scar heavy and light they are powerful and effective weapons, but the Thompson has low recoil, fast firing rate, the power is good and the 60 round magazine really serves me best in battle. Besides it looks so cool and everybody wants one, I dont care what they say. By the way I also have the XM8 it looks cool and futuristic but it really was a big dissapointment to me. Take it for what its worth and no offence intended to anyone.

I'd recommend the M4C if you have the cash/luck for it, or the ScarL. The Thompson isn't very good for competitive gameplay; it kind of reminds me of a Kriss with a bigger clip.

Form what you said, the best gun would be the Scar Light. The XM8 is pretty good but its second to the Scar Light & the Spray pattern on the Scar Light is much better. The Tommy Gun is not good for long range and its not good at single shooting too. So if your looking for a grate "All Round Gun", the Scar Light would be the best.

the scar light is probably one of the worst spray guns, in the AR category

Why is this? As far as I heard it's "the best gun" pretty much all around. If not the ScarL what would you suggest.

Well from bouncing back am frouth from cs1.6, combat arms and crossfire i have learned how different guns and how the companys makes them to be what they are. i personally would have:
BAG 1: Scar L
DE
All 3 nades
knife
BAG 2: AWM
Andaconda
knife
All 3 nades
thats what i have and i am preety good with that set up.

Is their another suggetion besides AWM? I'm pretty streaky with sniper guns (I do good then I do horrible) so is there another gun you would suggest for bag 2?

I would go for .......well it depends on what gamemode you are going in i have the ak sliver......and i like it for ghost mode. But i would chose a scoped gun like xm8 or sg....idk

Thanks for that. I might consider the Ak Silver but I'm not the greatest with high recoil guns.

you just describe the scar light pretty much, but if you want a gun that takes skill your gonna have to give up one of those traits you mentioned.

yu mentioned secondary weapons, and truth to tell, if you dont snipe much a pistol is a bit of a waste of money, but i own two, and i find im as good or better with my colt1911 as i am with my desert eagle

on primary weapons, scar light of the ones mentioned, but you might check out a SG552, is not as acurate as a scar light and the recoils a bit heavier, but it has dual sight system and if you fire in bursts its pretty good, oh and its loud as hell and can startle the crap outa your enimies at close range

btw, GP crates cost 2000 gp each, with the tompson/winchester crates your as likely to win a perm winchester as a tompson,
