Custom Sprays.

I suggest custom sprays like in Team Fortress 2, I'd like to know you people's thoughts too.

@LikeASir, couldn't they punish the users who posted those sprays or something? They could also make it so that only a certain rank can use custom sprays, that way people won't just keep making new accounts to troll people with the inappropriate .gifs and/or pictures.

Maybe 2nd LT or higher, but that won't stop people.

How would they know who posted inappropriate images?

That would only flood the support system if it was via reporting.

It just seems like it would be too much of a hassle.

@LikeASir, I don't see that many high ranking people (Second Lieutenant or higher), and most of them wouldn't probably want to go waste there accounts on trolling people with inappropriate custom sprays.

They could even put in a extra security measure and require you buy the ability to make custom sprays with maybe about 1000 zp or something, then only probably rich douchbags would decide to troll us.

And even if they did decide to troll us, when they get banned they'll have to make a new account and grind up exp again, if they were IP banned and didn't know how to get though the ban then that'll slow them down too.

At the MOST the troll might get back online and post the inappropriate spray maybe 1 time per 2 days if you needed to be a 2nd LT to get the custom sprays, also that's with the troll getting 100EXP per minute, 24 hours a day. (Based on my math anyways, I might have did the calculations wrong, if I did feel free to correct me.)

People could just report the inappropriate custom sprays to the support system, it probably won't flood it since I doubt many people would want to waste there accounts posting inappropriate sprays after spending zp and grinding exp.

Sprays would have to be uploaded and added to the server database, then checked in case of vulgar, inappropriate, etc. content, and really all it causes is a lot of problems and extra work, while Support could be banning hackers, etc.

Just change your sprays using PS or something. They'll only show up on your side, but if you want custom sprays, it's probably the easiest way to do it.

@Bawbs, if we are going to go with uploading them to the server data base and checking them for all that, then maybe we can only upload custom sprays 1 time per 2 years or something like that, that way it's less of a hassle.

Z8games could also make custom sprays be 10000ZP or something, that way at least all the hassles could get them some more money to combat hackers and other things. (Though I expect the custom sprays to be permanent if they are going to be 10000ZP).

If you wanted a new spray to replace your old spray faster then you'd have to pay maybe 10000 ZP.

Changing sprays but only having them show up on my side doesn't really give me the same effect as knowing people are looking at the lolcat I just sprayed up.

Not a bad idea, but I'd rather have Z8 spend their time on other stuff (ie Hacks, fixing game bugs, etc.)

This has been suggested before and the answer then is still the same. It's impossible to monitor what kind of images people would use as sprays. This would lead to people using inappropriate images in game as sprays.
