double jump?

So once i met this guy who knew how to jump on top of boxes instantly, so he tries to teach me in a one on one.... but i never got how to do it...

does anyone know? and if so can you explain in depth?

u have to hold down up and down at the same time and u should be able to lag up. It takes practice

I would like to know as well. This what i know.

Jump and just before you hit the ground press "Ctrl" and then jump again while holding down the foward button.(Doesnt seem to be working).

sneeze tried to teach me today... i know what to do but i only succeed once in a blue moon

edit: it is jump, jump, crouch but for some reason my second jump is too delayed

Then, Jump Crouch.

Just practice hopping up and down in place to get the timing down, then add the crouch.

it's not a glitch but your using an invisible layer on the objects...

i wish double jumping here was as simple as double jumping in blackshot. all you had to do there was crouch+jump against the wall lol

well if a mod is telling you how to do it i guess not. it makes the game more competitive especially.

Wow there are some complex ways to to this. I just go up to the box. Jump, then before i hit the ground i press jump again and then crouch after i jump the second time. Then walk forward and i'm on the box lol.

Jump, jump crouch is the way i use, but are you talking about the people who can get up in one jump? But it sort of looks like their stuck for a split second?

and i do know how to lag jump ( forward+back+crouch+jump) but i have no clue how to double jump, but i do think i got it once in like 10 minutes of trying....

i could find several places where this is useful
-jump in to the enemy corridor in Ship, useful because you wont get shot down doing it the old way of jumping from the big crate across

-ghost mode i guess, theres a lot of crates especially 2 stacked together

yep its exactly like what you're saying, it looks like one jump but its actually two where they kind of crouch and hover at the top for a second

This is how i do, I press S+D Together and jump.

-run into it
-jump
-right before you land jump again (you will go slightly higher)
-crouch
-get on the object
-???
-profit

thanks, i gotta try that as soon as i have a chance to go on CF,
and i guess the trick in it is just timing...

done all that... my problem is:my second jump doesn't register right before i land. like i press space... wait a bit while i am falling back down... space(doesn't jump for some reason)... keep pressing space until i actually jump... crouch... fail

Ur timing is off then. Try either waiting a little longer or press space a little sooner.

hmmm... are the side buttons on modern gaming mice editable? like can you program one button to space bar+control? that would be sick

Like head said.. If Jump jump crouch does not work. Your timing is the problem.
Pick a friend. Go to a 1vs1 match with him/her and practice the 20 mins.
I've seen people learn this after 3 try's.. some take 20 min. Some even more. But they all learned it.

And it is not against the rules. It basically is the same as bunny hop. All about timing. So it is a skill.

I have seen plp jump staight onto that box and I can never do it lol

I use the arrow keys to move around my jump is right shift and my crouch is button4 mouse


What do I press to jump onto that box in ship? I can never do it I always get shot:)

It is a method of jumping

If you use it to glitch then that is wrong but if you use it to jump to places (see post above)

A glitch is a place that gives a player an unfair advantage.

For example being inside the Train on Train or being in a box or metal container.
