In my opinion this will not be that good coz some ppl love spam alot, & this will be nooby for some cases & it's not a chat room too :P

No, no no. This is a FPS game, therefore we kills people and not sit there and spam emotions.

i love how everyone is saying "no" without giving a logical explanation as to why not. A happy face emoticon is ultimately the same thing as a smiley face(

, =], etc), so i don't see why not. It doesn't affect the gameplay whatsoever, so i could live with it.

I'm not too sure about this, but I guess it would decrease your FPS, even if it might not be significant you will still notice a slight change, especially if they spam these smileys.

So it does affect your gameplay.

i'm talking about in-game functions ( ie. weapons, gameplay, etc)

Also, you can't tell the difference between 150 fps and 130 fps, so your argument is invalid

just add the option to diable/enable it
if you disable it the smiley faces will be like

It's just not something we need now; it's useless, especially for their business. It makes no profit at all and will make things worse.

Colored chat is also useless but it brings profit back, people pay for it because they like it.

I don't think that this is very high priority at the moment. Also I prefer to see only characters ingame rather than colored smiley faces.
