The old AWM is probably the best reskinned gun out there. And this M14 looks ugly. -
Exactly my thought.
I know it's not Z8s fault as they don't create that stuff, but another AWM Christmas? It's not like we've already had it for 2 years.
I know that perhaps this particular weapon isn't as exciting to you, being a long time member and someone who continues to play.
But there are a lot of people who have never even seen the AWM Xmas let alone own one. In fact of the active daily population we're only talking in the single digit %'s. It was released in 2009 and wasn't brought back and in general any subsequent player who has that particular weapon got it out of isolated circumstances.
This skin update on the weapon looks better than the original and gives a chance for new players to have a holiday version of what is basically the games most popular sniper rifle. -

Seriously? People like Danah and others already have that crappy M14EBR Xmas... Why bring a new edition, which is painless for collectors? This will be my/many people's worse Xmas patch... Next time bring joy with new xmas guns, by making the Z8 GM's, themselves... Not copying from Tencent/QQ -

We tend to update while the day switches over as that is the time when the least amount of people are online.
While we haven't announced the exact time yet, we expect it to be around 11pm on the 19th. -

Another reminder: Why not bringing that Xmas Shovel? Why not a 4 permanent gun crate? Whats the problem with that?

I actually like that the AWM xmas came back (assuming the skin does look good, and it has the same reload as the 2009 AWM xmas). -

While I do get that there are plenty of people out there who haven't got that AWM and might want to try it, there are plenty of other good guns that would deserve a reskin. If you see it that way then you'd have to bring back every seasonal gun at some point, because there are always going to be new people that don't own that special gun or maybe haven't even seen it.
I do get that this is not your fault, you could just take what the devs offer you, I do get that this was probably the best you could get for us, but it is still kind of disappointing for those people that stuck to this game and own that particular gun already. -

I wish the same logic would be considered for perm santa hats....
