I don't get why is there this ranked scrim thing
scrim is practice, + ranked scrim is already a system implemented by z8.
All of you should just come to clan server.
How good a team is should be based on your win loss!

Real scrims don't occur in clan servers. Not a lot of people like playing competitive in clan servers.
- The round winning system is totally different.
- You can sub in/out players anytime you want in e8
- Disconnecting/Client error wouldn't be a problem in e8.
- If a team trolls and put on females/armor, they can choose not to play anytime
- Your limited to play only with the people that are actually in your clan. Others outside of the clan cannot play.
The Ranked Scrim system that's being hosted is more organized and has an actual purpose, rather than practicing all day in clan server. -

Real scrims occur in clan server. It makes sure people don't rejoin, actual good score keeping system, much more competitive that this "e8" thing that you pub stompers contaminate.
This is much more organized.
Good teams have good win/loss. This team must be good. -

what ppl don't understand is when people where armor you get to shoot their head twice(assuming your gun dinks). You have more opportunity to practice your aim!

To be honest i actually agree, well to some extent.
I agree more people should play clan server, in fact there are some really good "pubstars" who do have more game sense and aim than some competitive players, granted a lot of competitive players would counter that argument with "they play with advantages" like armor, spop and such but really if your so good at this game, why cant you play against people with such "advantages".
I've suggested to teams ive been in the past, to play clan server for strat practice and other things and then play league matches on echo 8 or whatever server is needed for those specific teams to preform the best and FYI you do not need to practice against competitive teams to practice anyone who played CS 1.6 and source or any other game competitively on any level before CF should know this already.
I like playing in echo 8 even with my 142 ping, challenge is a challenge, but it's become way to childish and people are just way to set in there ways. A few teams do play clan server but I doubt everyone will start doing it.
on the other hand, I think the clan servers are seriously under developed and until they are "re-imagined" and changed to suit the large amount of people who currently hate clan server I dont think people will change.

Yeah I have seen alot of good players in the clan servers. They might not be in those great teams though so they can't really show what skills they have got. I would like to announce our tournament we are working on. It might take some time but we want to create a competition between america and europe and have some kind of price for the winners . just to keep the community social. of course the competition will be in both echo 8 and uk 3 8

Agree for the most part
I've seen a lot of players that have incredible aim, but their gamesense lacks because they can just run around in clan server without strats.
For example exquisite when I first met him when he was in thefeared (?) had amazing aim, and then when he began playing competitive his gamesense improved and he became a great player.

They would be winning everything by farming.
Spops and zp weapons aren't a factor in a scrim but are in a cw.
Zz is doing a great thing for the community it adds a more competitive feel.
Better then cwing brs.
EDIT: Plus don't you have to bandi in the ranked scrims? There is no AC in cws.
