Ranking e8 games?
haven't played in a few months but i come on the forums and see that someone is ranking scrim games now. Why? how do you benefit as a team and how does this actually benefit the competitive community as a whole when most people generally view scrims as pick up games with no real value. I mean people can win scrims all day but when there is nothing on the line and nothing to lose being ranked a top scrim team doesn't mean much does it? I could possibly be viewing this the wrong way and reading to deep into what this is all about though so im not trying to completely downplay this whole idea just looking for a bit for understanding.

Cal-O and Cal-IM for 1.6 is a comparable system.
Scrims with little to no value for the vast majority of teams, but increased competivieness and created a community for gamers. Did not eliminate cheating entirely, but it did increase awareness/anti-cheat clients as a direct result. -
you're reading too deep into it, it's more like scrims with bandi...just some practice with nothing on the line (record really doesn't matter)
I seehey, what's up jkeith
anyways, it's not just scrims, it's more of a ladder format.
