My suggestion for those who made WCG

This is just a thought...please no flaming.

If WCG is providing similar gear each year for these championships, would it make sense then to use the same gear?

This way you will become acustom to the same hardware (headphones, mouse etc) and would then have a competive edge.

As I said, it was only a thought of mine. Just trying to help those teams who are able to make it to WCG.

As I said, it was only a thought of mine. Just trying to help those teams who are able to make it to WCG.

Usually progamers can bring their own keyboard, mouse, mousepad, and headphones because it's all preference.

This would be the most fair way that WCG can do because everyone would be at the same ground level, like it or not.

But I still think it would be a better option for WCG if they just let you use your own equipment because if you didn't let players use their own equipment, then they would not perform to their best because they may not be comfortable with the tournament's equipment. But the good side is that everyone will be at the same level. More fair, but you won't be that comfortable using the league's equipment. May even cause frustration or confusion because of unprefered equipment too.

It's not more fair to force equal equipment. It's only frustrating, stupid, and potentially less fair if one of the players already uses the equipment being forced.
