z8 effort is pathetic
is it any wonder none of our teams are in the finals?
all they did was make an event for bonus weekend exp, followed by 3 links

where is the updated info on games/teams?
I know I can find it all out for myself but for the pub players who won't invest over 5 minutes, z8 is selling the community *******

you seem mad, for you the threads are useless, I did over ride it a little bit, but the people in the tourney were informed greatly. -
You're all sh.t, calm down on posting stupid stuff on this thread. He has a legit complaint. I agree, maybe if they had gotten a little more involved there would've been more viewers, but still, Carnage and Hammertime lost so it doesn't make to big of a difference.

it does not change the fact that the skill level of asians, udssr/europe is higher
China has websites with outcomes of matches and encourages community involvement/excitement. I don't even see the results on the z8 front page. Such a huge event and they post nothing. Contributing factors to why our teams flopped so hard. -

I can't re-call the last time Z8Games actually gave a crap about the competitive side.. If I had the ability to I would never let WOGL come back to CF due to the fact that the people that run Z8 are worse than the players themselves. -

I highly doubt that. Seeing as a portion of the competitive community ran off at the very least 2-3 leagues. Can't blame the ENTIRE competitive community, but I guess a good portion can certainly can account for their actions.
The problem, in my view, is bad sportsmanship.
Z8 goes out of their way to try and set something up with what a user/3rd party constructs.
G4 is not Blizzard, or Treyarch. It just can't compete with the # of $$ put in (that part I can't independently verify, it's just my opinion), nor place the high amount of staff to integrate competitive gaming into CF.
It has been stated time and time again that it would be great to have a competitive aspect to CF, but it would have to start off via the players, not the company. -

I know but why can't Z8 ever update their Tournament page?? We've had plenty of tournaments such as CSN, WCG, and WOGL Brawl... -
Those are community sites, and have nothing to do with the gateway in china. If you it bugs you so much, why don't you start a community site for our version. In any case, you say our teams flopped so hard yet both got 3rd in their groups. Considering our version got 5th/6th out of the 11 or 12 teams isn't really flopping. Even then you say that community websites lead to the reason why our teams did not when.
The real reason our teams did not win is neither team really took the event seriously if you look at the practice/effort that both teams put in for it. fgHT barely practices this game, and when they do it is mostly pugging verse teams that are inferior to them. fgCarn had to swap 5ths due to their original not being able to go after WCG CA nationals.
Last year our version had 3/4 teams in the top 4. I am throwing ruL in there, because they all played on the uk servers for leagues and what not. If our version wants to win the event it simply comes down to sending teams with the desire to put in the time to beat the competition. -

Support CF ranked league and who knows maybe z8 will pick it up. Ive already talked to Saidin and he is going to support the league. He said he is willing to help promote the league and later on help me in providing good prizes for the league playoffs. The competitive community needs to show that they truly want leagues and that they can handle them in a mature way, which is why I am going to work a lot on this league so that eventually z8 staff will be able contribute to the competitive things more than they already are. Trust me they do pay attention to the competitive community more than you may think.
