noise cancelling headphones plus its probably really loud in there, hard to hear anything from the other team unless they are yelling.

I was playing at Montreal LAN. Trust me you don't hear the other team unless they are literally yelling. Especially if you are focusing on the game. No one is really yelling anyways they are all talking to each other on mumble or ventrillo.
