Help, x-trap hates me!!!!

i try to start my game, and it doesnt start. if i wait 5-10 minutes, it finally tells me x-trap failed to initialize er something like that, i tried reinstalling...nothing helped....plllzzz tell me how to fix

For XP 64 bit this works, but you can try it even if you have something else.
Uninstall Internet Explorer 7 or 8, which leaves you automatically with IE6.
Restart your PC and Crossfire should work.
