125 Hz, ofc. And I am using MarkC's mouse fix.Scapestarx wrote: »1800 dpi and 450 dpi is more than a thousand difference. If you believe that'll feel remotely the same you're stupid
My question is about the sensitivity scale that I should use to compensate. truesens=dpi*sens in game, so I once read. -

Exactly. So, since 1800*9=450*36, I thought mouse movement in game would feel the same. Looks like it's not that simple, though. To get the same true sensitivity, I would have to adjust the in-game sens to more than 36 while using 450 dpi. Which makes it a lot more difficult to replicate my original sensitivity accurately. Oh well, I guess I'll just deal with it. I was just a little surprised that it didn't work out as neatly as I had thought -
Mind if I ask what mouse do you use?
Polling rate at 125 Hz yadeyada, standard.
In terms of "trusens" honestly you can have a bunch of stats that tells you which ones are precise and accurate and what not, but in the end it just depends on how YOU move and how much space you have on your table and how much you actually WANT to move. From the settings you use, should be no problem. Just adjust to your feel.
I don't know much about the mechanics so just gona leave it at that. -

markc mouse fix will barely help getting rid of maccel.
1800 dpi is terrible for fps games, get used to something between 400-800 dpi cause that's more than you'll ever need.
one thing though, why would you change your dpi and sensitivity if you wanted something to feel exactly the same? doesn't make sense to me at all. -
