Hello My friend have a problem for Start Crossfire. cause of new patch.

He has delete all Crossfire file and Download the game of different mirror and safe on a other Disk. We have look Property and nothing... The game don't Want Start.

I had the same problem and i have delete all file of Internet Explorer 7 for can play to CF

But for friends, nothing work for start Crossfire :S

Someone can help me

Go to your anti virus software change setting application control move from untrusted to trusted,it works at me.

If your AV need this to be done to a normal program, I suggest you get a better AV...
Make sure you installed all proper drivers BEFORE installing the game...
Make sure your graphics card is supported/can support the game...

Everything we can say to 'help' you will turn out to be the same generic BS that companies say because it's always the same reason why people can't get something working...

If they have McAfee this was posted somewhere else on this forum it would basically be the same for any firwall but it helped me ... I'm posting it here.

If you get this: File is changed : W[2007] L[2] crossfire.exe and you have McAfee All you have to do is:

1.) Bring up McAfee Security Center.
2.) Click Advanced Menu (if it already isnt on it)
3.) Click on "Restore".
4.) Click on Files in the top left corner.
5.) Now The Quarintined Files should show up on the screen.
6.) You can check the boxes next to all the files so just look for the crossfire.exe file and check it off.
7.) Now look down in the bottom right it shows options to "restore", "remove" and "Send to McAfee".
8.) Click "Restore". Now you wait, and it should say something about it being restored.
9.) Now start up crossfire and play


I hope this helps it did for me if this is the problem your friend is having.
