Core support

Well I wrote in crossfire barack already and in oftopic, but no1 have idea, how many cores Crossfire support.
So are there any informations how many cores support Crossfire?

If I have 4 core CPU, will the game use all 4 cores or only 2? Atm I have Dual core and wondering if I would go to 4 cores, but it would be pointless if the game support only 2 cores

So I would like to get some infos on that please
