CF's engine isn't designed around "portal" connections.
This not possible to add unless they remake the entire engine, and that so much work that they might as well make a new game entirely off it.Escape mode.

That not a portal connection. That the game respawning you and giving you points.
By portal connections I'm talking about how the game organizes and uses the maps and physical features. Portal the game was made from how the engine it is based on works.
CF's engine doesn't work anything like Portals engine. -

CF engine doesn't work like portals engine, correct. But who says it can't imitate it? While yes, true teleporting would be moving your whole character model on a x-y-z basis. What Crossfire can do is re-spawn you at the next point with the HP and weapon, ammo count and etc that you went into the portal with.
The only thing that probably wouldn't work in an imitation of Portal is that the actual portals won't mirror the next portal. (I.E you won't see the exit of the portal when viewing directly in it). That would be because of Crossfire's Engine's archaic nature.
Keep in mind that you don't want to remake the whole portal game in Crossfire. Just the portal gun and the idea of teleporting. -

Imitating it is possible but it wouldn't work like how the portal gun does.
At best it be a spot that causes one to respawn at another spot. You wouldn't be able too see through it and no bullets or grenades go through it as well. -
Portal gun that has 2 portals - red and blue portals.
left=blue right=red
if u fall into a portal it teleports u out of the other portal
xDEven though I have fond memories playing with my portal gun, I still would have to say no...just no...
