[WOGL Brawl] Opening Cast, Match Comms, Schedules, Discussion & Questions

Hey everyone,

So there is a lot going on in regards to the WOGL Brawl for it All tournament.

Firstly, there will be an opening cast event going on tomorrow at around 8EST. There will be an interview with [GM]Saidin & oL (WOGL CEO), and a casted match of Gorgonites vs LifeLine. The casters will be none other than blitzd, GEX, and myself. You can tune in live at: www.twitch.tv/wogl

Secondly, match comms are up for the Round 1 matches (Saturday, November 17th). They can be found here: http://www.wogl.org/forums/match-comms/
Please get scheduling right away! It looks bad on our community if a bunch of the matches are forfeits. Remember this tournament is to help decide if WOGL will provide future events in our community.

Don't forget Round 2 is Sunday (November 18th)!

Upper Round 2 and Lower Round 1, 11/18 (Sunday)
Upper Round 3 and Lower Round 2, 11/24 (Saturday)
Lower Round 3, 11/25 (Sunday)
Upper Round 4 and Lower Round 4, 12/8 (Saturday)
Lower Round 5, 12/9 (Sunday)
Bronze Medal Match, 12/15 (Saturday)
Gold Medal Match, 12/16 (Sunday)
Second BO3 (If Needed)

Great news, but the map was given today, when the matches are tomorrow. What's the latest date we must play the opposing team before the next round of matches start?

Round 2 starts sunday, so you must play some time saturday.

I understand that this may seem rushed, but when teams "confirmed" their participation a few days ago the thread stated it started this weekend. Furthermore, a schedule was posted in another thread previously.


Please just try your best to get all the matches played on time!

That is the match I wanted to have casted, but brando wasn't on xfire so I had to find alternates.

It seems there's an issue with the first round match Standout vs Hammertime. I don't know where the rules say that you cannot start a game without all 5 players there but it does. I'm kinda confused. Is HT DQ'd? Or do the results stand?

We're not disputing. We're just wondering if they would have got DQ'd. We would have told doop that it was fine and NOT to DQ them. Standout played with 2 ringers because no body else from the team could make it. Some guy named mrhollywood and another randie. 14-9, Not Bad.

Yup. I haven't been able to scrim in the past couple of weeks due to my computer. I found like 2 trojan viruses and 5 other related trojan viruses (IRP Hooks). To add onto that there was like 700 more threats o_o... Now I think I have to get a new sound card because whenever I hear sound it's like robot sex. Still none the less the team is steadily improving.

Yeap!
Couldn't make it on time for the match. Was on the way to Indiana from Rhode Island and now on the way to Vegas from Nebraska. (Wifi is horrible on this plane -.-" )

If he asked doop to play 4v5 then I doubt they'd get disqualified.
