Report System Suggestion

Hey, after playing CF for so long , I decided to split my time between CF / LoL.

Well, in LoL, there is a report system that lets the community to decide the fate of the reported players

Example :

Someone is flamming and dying intentionally so the enemy team gets free kills ( = feeding and that's a bannable act in LoL ) and his team eventually loses - or wins, it's the same thing.

So, the players see his case in " The Tribunal " , a special place inside the game's website, and they decide either to PUNISH or PARDON him.

+ They give 1 GP for every correct case +

So, what I'm suggesting is

- A similar system like that
- A Replay Player to help us see the replays without getting into the game
- The votes of the majority will determine the outcome . And it is final .
- You get a symbolical amount of GP = Your work is rewarded.

Pros

- The COMMUNITY will decide the fate of the reported account
- The COMMUNITT will help the GMs ( I don't know who's responsible for reviewing reports about hacking / etc )
- 1 GP / Correct Case = Way of making extra money ( slow but it's still a way )

Cons
- I don't know :P

CF Dev team is much smaller than LoLs.
It would require a lot of work.
1 GP is too little for reward, I would never do it for such small compensation.
Most of the players wouldn't even watch the replays. They would all probably decide lets (not)punish everyone.

The majority of in game players for Alpha servers are SA players that are mostly Xenophobic towards NA players. Giving them power would only lead to NA players being punished for nothing and SA players that are breaking rules to get away with it.

So when you report a player and it is justified you earn 1 gp?

I'd rather just report cheaters to improve the game. 1 GP won't make much much of a difference for most players anyways.

He wants a Peer review style judgement.
Where the community judges whether the accused is guilty or innocent and a correct call rewards GP to those that voted that way.

It pointless because there needs to be someone to make the correct call in the first place and that someone would need to review and judge the accused. And if someone is already being hired to judge calls on whether they are correct, why not just have them alone make the calls?

It time consuming, not beneficial, and just adds another thing for people to fight over.

When I say " 1 GP " , the number is symbolical. It can be 1 GP or 1.000.000 GP. My point is that you'll have a motive to punish bad guys, and pardon the nice guys.

In other words, you say that the majority of this community is 10 year old kids ( no offense to you or the community but that's what I understood )
