I've tested streaming on my PC (mostly in 1080p, but I plan on doing 720p since it's smoother). The streams looked pretty good both live and in their recorded form: www.twitch.tv/randompubber is where the recorded test streams can be found.

Reliable Internet for upload

My upload speed is pretty high, usually 22 MB/s at the very least.

General understanding of the game/players

Ehehehe, I can't promise I'm Gex or Luck, but I still know who most players are, and know all the callouts for the common maps like BW, EE, Mexico, Port, etc. I think I have a general understanding of the game, but I guess that's up for the viewers to judge from my shoutcasts.

As an added bonus: my co-caster has the sexiest voice in CF, don't you agree?

EDIT: though if I were you, I would also find it hard to resist Quack's Beavis and/or Butthead voice offer.
