World Cyber Games Canada 2012 Nationals - Concluded.

After a strong month and a half or so the World Cyber Games has been working hard to bring the Canadian Players the Qualifiers and Nationals and now it has come to it's conclusion as the National Finals have ended, all that is left over is the Grand Finals that will be hosted in Kunshan, China on November 29th, 2012 until December 2nd, 2012.

Our CrossFire version has two teams that will be attending the Grand Finals, which are Hammertime and Carnage, both sponsored by Frost Gaming. Very interesting to see two teams under the same organization go to the same event, should be something worth the see - but also a good experience.

The CrossFire National Finals were held this past weekend in Montreal, Quebec where our Canadian Teams;

FG.Carnage - Terrorism, Novroly, Ayrin, JAYTEK and VODKAH.
LifeLine - BLITZED, MALTE, ESCAPE, SHADOW, and ALVIN.
nBd* - Pauldean, Ck, SickPuppy, Yura and Bizz.
c2 - VINXED, AKS, SLANT, FMB and Akira.
(Organized by finalized seed placements)

In the end of a hard fought three days, FG.Carnage was able to claim the Nationals winning first place in the finals against LifeLine. On a side note, FG.Carnage went UNDEFEATED during the entire National Event - great stuff by them.

We would like to thank the following -

Monstar (Hammertime): Helping out with the cast last minute, letting us use his nice rig to give the Semi Finals and Finals of the Nationals better quality for those who were watching.

Mochronik (Killerwhales): Co-casting with myself (Chase) during the second day of the event, great job.

Ayce (LPK): Another co-caster during the second day of the event, thanks.

Justin (Viz): Co-casting the final day with me last minute, woke up early in the morning just to cast - big thanks.

Jon (Frost Gaming): Helping the cast.

Mittenz (Candace): Helping out during the qualifiers with myself and WCG Canada with disputes and questions when I wasn't able to tend to them.

[MOD]Rex: This guy.. wow. He stayed on with me for atleast five hours during the qualifiers to try and make the cast better in quality.. he wouldn't give up until we had something acceptable. Big thanks to him.

Roth (BLITZED of LifeLine): Casting the Qualifiers, big help! Thanks.

Slant (c2): Casting the Qualifiers along side with Roth, thanks!

[GM]Saidin & Z8 Games: Offered their Licensed xSplit Account, along side with CrossFire's Official Twitch.TV Account to cast the qualifiers and nationals. Big thanks to them for making that possible to bring the community the coverage.

Thank you to the community aswell for giving you input during both of the events and to those I forgot.

I would like to personally thank Thierry Gagnon (WCG Canada CEO) for letting me help out with everything related to CrossFire from managing the qualifiers and casting, and somewhat more. Was a great experience to work along side some of the WCG Members, and will see you next year if CrossFire is picked up yet again.

Big thanks to Mathieu Morin (WCG Canada) for helping me during the qualifiers with the schedule and the brackets. Both of us stayed up until very early in the morning working on the qualifiers of the last few days before it started, really nice guy and made a new friend.

A big thank you to WCG Canada's other members for making this possible for all games, and all teams.
