US South Servers to be shut down

You move accounts to CF BR? This is in Portuguese and there is a big difference between the Spanish and the Portuguese, thus there is no CF L.A.
By that we do not say lies, this is the real reason to close the U.S. servers, There are other servers that stays more empty.
You are harming people, loyal and dedicated players who spend money and time on this game to take these kinds of decisions, on the other servers have increased in our ping and is very high, in some cases more than twice.
Latin American players are not going to transfer to the BR CF for several reasons
The time spent on our accounts
The money invested
And the most important in the BR CF have even more ping than at CF NA -
plzz do not do thiss[GM]Saidin wrote: »Just as an FYI there is tons of capacity space on the Toronto and West Coast servers to handle the population from the Miami Server. We're talking less than .5% of the game population.
It might affect peak time capacity making it harder to get into the popular channels like say Alpha, but there is plenty of other capacity to handle this.
What I mean by increasing the capacity is that we'll be monitoring exactly the scenario above. There's always options, we'll be looking in to all of those moving forward. If we need to increase the capacity of servers elsewhere, then we will, if we need to add servers elsewhere then we will. The Miami server is coming down regardless of those options though. Thus the announcement.

The Miami Server will be shut down effective midnight tonight. At this time we have no plans to bring the server back.
Please note that after the US South Servers are down, the Server Selection window will display the wrong servers as having 5% Bonus GP. The current Servers which have 5% Bonus GP are:UK Server 4The average activity level of the Miami Server is an incredibly small fraction of the daily population of the game. Most of the people that used this server will be able to get a similar latency by connecting to either the US West or the Regular CF Servers.
Delta Server
We will be monitoring the impact of this change on all levels, it is our goal to increase the capacity of the servers in concentrated areas rather than these fringe servers that don't serve any significant population of people. As always we'll be watching for your feedback and looking at the raw game data to determine the best possible course of action moving forward!
In addition to this, there is a side effect that should help funnel new players to the South American version at br.crossfire.z8games.com. We have already seen the population start to move down there in the first 8-10 months of this SA service, and we will continue to encourage players from Brazil to play there.
We will also be looking to replace the bonus 5% GP server somewhere else, as well as look at the level requirements of all the servers to see if we can implement any positive changes for our users.
While this Server Shutdown won't affect many people we do realize that it will inconvenience some, and for that we are deeply sorry.
Thanks for your patience and understanding and for your continued loyalty to Cross Fire!

Now way us west has more players than that server! -
HAHAHA Z8games got greedier again.Their pretty much saying this:
We want more money time to shutdown inactive servers! MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't really care since I don't play on those servers but you can see how greedy they getting. Foxtrot is way more inactive as well. But I know this will bring a lot of laggers to other servers oh well use to it. -

Guys as we can see here the GMs arent working correctly, they give FAKE reasons to close a ery good server, those GMs the lies on us and give us false arguments should be Demote and no longer GM. I really mad with this Hollowen Joke. The true is that they arent working. -

you really dont know nothing, the player from miami, in my case a got a so high ping in US west that i cant even play. -

Justice
Justice, for the same reasons mentioned should remove Foxtrot, server 3 Uk, Uk Server 5 as these have the same percentage of inactivity or even more, also has 6 server UK of which only 3 are highly active and one of medium activity . It would be fair to U.S. own at least one server [U.S. Server 1] Thanks -

In the announcement we suggested both of our other server banks, not just the west. Please read the full text.Just as an FYI there is tons of capacity space on the Toronto and West Coast servers to handle the population from the Miami Server.
Depending on your location you still have plenty of options of less used servers with plenty of space for the few people in Miami who were displaced by this closure.Thats a prove that GMs arent working they dont even know that we have school at the time that they are playing.
I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to say here. You can't arbitrarily take a screenshot of a server when it's not full and compare it to a server in a different time zone that has more people. We have the appropriate user trends, and one single screenshot is not going to change the specific data. -
West serves a population that is otherwise pretty much left out - aussies, NZs etc.
People towards whom the US South server was directed (Florida, Alabama, Georgia etc) can play on other US servers without a ridiculous ping increase.
People who played on US South without it being directed towards them (Latin america, Euros for whichever reason), have a whole different version.
Servers such as Foxtrot (NA), UK3,5 (UK obviously) are, beyond redundancies, excellent for testing purposes (level restrictions etc).
US South had such a low impact and close enough to zero activity making it useless both as a redundancy (nobody plays there anyway) and as a testing ground (nobody plays there) so removing it and placing it in a more populated area for real redundancy makes complete sense.
Sorry if this doesn't make sense to you but it does make sense. -

What I traying to say is that there is not a real reason to take out the US south server and you are not working correctly because how can you say that US south have low population if there is others servers with much lower. You are UNFAIR. -
