looking to get into the competitive scene and i have a few questions..

Hey, just a few questions
if i already have an in game clan, with people in it. how exactly do i find a scrim? is there a scrim finder somewhere or do i just have to message a random clan?

also, how many people are usually in these scrims? i used to play cod4 promod it would usually be a 5v5...

and are there any rules in competitive matches?

anyways thanks for reading. im just a noob with a lot of questions

scrims are 5vs5
usually only GP rules (means not using anything that u purchase with zp)
for scriming u need a team first , then u go to echo server channel 8 and ask for 5 in lobby

Check out this thread concerning the LPK rules. Most scrims are now based on LPK rules but it is agreed before a scrim usually.

Like said above you can either xfire asking for a 5 or spam "5" in echo 8 and people will usually say "make" telling you to make a room or they will make a room and invite you

Well for now people will use the LPK rule but after the tournament end it will be back to normal GP gun.

quick question, if i earn lets say any gun from a gp crate, or that m4 custom chrystal perm for 20 ribbons, those are still gp weapons right?

These are for the current lpk cup. They are fairly similar/closest thing to the standard set of rules; at least regarding weapons and characters allowed.
