since you nerds cant handle a little rain, and don't seem to understand how a deadline (not default) match system works I have came up with a simple solution:
you can add people to your roster to play your matches in time
xfire: me the z8 usn and ign of the player you are adding
your team name
these late additions must still record with fraps/bandi/etc.
also if caught using people from other teams both teams will be disqualified.

Why would both teams get disqualified? The team with the ringer should just get the loss. At least in my opinion. -

Seems a little inconsiderate. I'm pretty sure that everyone being affected by the storm is worried about losing their houses/valuables. and not a Tourney. Even WOGL would have Postponed. -

i am running a for fun tournament, by myself with small in game prizes provided by z8.
the whole point of this tournament is for the spirit of competition and enjoying crossfire. not to decide who the best team in the game is or anything like that.
using the forums to run a tournament is very ineffective. i am only doing this because people complained about not having something. the way i set this up it only takes maybe an hour or so each night for me to manage this.
if teams have issues they should contact me on xfire instead of whining on the forums. each thing becomes a case by case basis. i also already allowed teams to find replacments for people effected by the hurricane. -

Recently watched the news. They said that hurricane katrina knocked out people's power for 2+ weeks. Apparently hurricane sandy is suppose to be 3x worse then katrina. Unlucky timing for Northeast part of united states.
Everyone's calling it Hurrican Sandy It's so funny. lol.
I just wish school was cancelled tom in Toronto.

subways are flooded because they are under ground. if you leave your shower on upstairs in your parents house the water will end up in the basement eventually.
next time i will just cancel the event due to weather.

To the people who think I am not compassionate about the hurricane. I have already called or contacted some way all of my family, friends, and people I know who live on the east coast to see how they are.
I just see no need on to let the storm dismantle the only event currently going on in competitive crossfire. I have decided to leave rosters open so teams with affected players can still participate.
If you disagree with this feel free to show a sign of support for those affected by withdrawing your team from the event.
