Coalition of Legit Clans

Idea for the LCC.. AND Keeping Our Clans Legit.
For ALL CLAN LEADERS in THE LCC
I URGE YOU TO " BLACK LIST " Your members without Honourable Ribbons.
You will then ASK Them to PROVIDE Proof on why they are banned.. " Harrassment, Chargebacks, or Hacking"
If They CAN'T PROVIDE proof of their ban... They will then be on the BANLIST..
And ALL Clan Leaders will be asked to remove Members who couldn't provide proof.
Doesn't matter if they are your friends or not, It's nothing personal towards these members.
Also, I suggest a Council be put in charge... Either clan leaders or certain ( VOTED ) representatives that will be in charge of checking Clans, and their members for people who are Covering up their players without HR.
This means if a member can't provide proof of why they don't have honourable ribbon to their leader, and their leader COVERS it up, saying they provided proof even if they didn't.
This Council will have a FORUM ( on the LCC Website ) That only the Council members have access to, where the Screenshots or replays of the provided proof or unprovided proof go.
This is my idea on how to REALLY keep the LCC CLEAN.
Hate me for this idea, or agree with me, The Choice is yours! -

And it is "honorable", not honourable unless of-course if you are British.
I disagree with this. I believe the council should kick/ban the clan from LCC if a player was caught hacking after it was admitted on LCC and not judge the clan or the players in it because of the ribbon. People make mistakes, the leader of WeAreLegion was banned for hacking in Zombie Mode almost a year ago, this doesn't mean that he still hacks. He has realized that it was stupid and he stopped. My point being, there are many people like NoticeMeOwn who realize that after they get banned and I strongly believe that they shouldn't be limited to joining to LCC just because of a stupid mistake that they made in the past.
EDIT: And I actually have my honorable soldier ribbon. -
You capitalize lots of word.

The point of that is we kick Members who CAN'T PROVIDE proof of why they are banned.. And if you look it says " Harrassment, Chargeback, or HACKING"
I know that people have made mistakes before. But I'm talking about Fishy members who WON'T PROVIDE proof of why they don't have honorable Ribbon.. You see what i'm saying?
IF TAYLOR provides proof, and I know of Taylor and his ban, I was in WeAreLegion and Am Very good friends with him, Doesn't mean anything.
I'm talking about Keeping The LCC as CLEAN AS POSSIBLE.
Disagree with whatever you want, The LCC won't improve if we don't stand against cheaters in our clans as it is now.
LOYALTY is everything to me. If someone is cheating in a clan they are already proving they aren't loyal to you. No point in KEEPING them around.
That's what My Suggestion is About.. Getting rid of them unloyal morons WHO WON'T PROVIDE proof.. Get Rid of them, FRIENDS ( Unloyal friends ) Or NOT.
Understand now? -
Exq...
Great work - I really like the premise and theory behind your idea, but I do have a couple of questions.
First off, how does one provide PROOF as to the reason why they were banned (and subsequently lost the Honorable ribbon)? Having never been banned myself, I'm not sure how it works. Is there somewhere on their profile page they can take screenshot that lists the actual reason for their ban?
Second - if the reason for a player losing Honorable ribbon was in fact hacking (hate to keep using Taylor as an example, but hey - it works! lol), then what? Do they need to issue a public apology and make promises never to hack again? Then they are OK to be in an LCC clan? Do you see my point or am I not being clear?
I guess I'm not sure how we would determine whether a previously banned (for hacking) member is set on remaining legit. For instance I believe Taylor will not hack again; others? not so much... But how can we judge a man's (or a woman's) heart or their intentions?
Finally, I think the the LCC Council is absolutely essential for the success of the coalition - for a lot of reasons. I will write more on my thoughts for the council in a separate post later on.
Again, nice work EXQ -

If you were banned you could send a support ticket asking why, and when they respond the clan could teamview you, OR if you happened to SS the message during the time you were actually banned.
Not 100% sure thoughSecond - if the reason for a player losing Honorable ribbon was in fact hacking (hate to keep using Taylor as an example, but hey - it works! lol), then what? I honestly think the honorable ribbon causes too many problems. There are so many ways to lose it, yet if you don't have it, everybody assumes you cheat. It'd be much easier if there was no honorable ribbon and you could just go off of 1)watching them play, or 2)someone giving you evidence of said person cheating. -
I dont agree with some of the clans on the list first of all,but given the current state of the game its important to do something about the players of some clans that dont even try to kick hackers. honor ribbon i dont think is a issue at this time
I believe if you privately asked every leader of every clan on the LCC list, they would tell you that there is still some degree of hacking in some of the other LCC clans. No one in specific, mind you... I think we all have had negative experiences with each other at one point and those effect our perceptions greatly.
I believe strongly in playing the game legit without hacks, glitches, etc. My clan members believe that way as well. But over the course of time, when recruiting other members, there is no way I can guarantee that I will never have a hacker in my clan. Rest assured, if I do have definitive proof that one of my members is hacking, they will be dealt with accordingly (i.e. KICKED).
I think the above paragraph represents the feelings of all of the LCC clan leaders. The point being, we are all 100% committed to running legit clans, and as leaders, we will do what it takes to keep our clans free of hackers. In my mind, that should be the only criteria for admission to the LCC. -

This^ This^ This^ +1... +1... +1
It wasn't a bad idea by z8. Just bad implementation. The story of CF. -
Agree they need to change it, loss of the ribbon for something on the forum is wrong
Unfortunately, the only changes I think we can count on have something to do with the new Royal Patriot Camo Advanced Gold weapons. That seems to be the focus. -
I Know there is ALOT of ways of how players get BANNED.
And They do tell you why you are banned in Support. A Simple ScreenShot of their reply would sufice.
Yes Honorable ribbon is a pain and everything, but it also shows that people are willing to stay legit, and keep absolute care of their accounts, ( Ie.. making sure they don't harrass others, or get chargebacks)
It's simple and easy to Blacklist members that Don't have honorable ribbon.
I ALSO KNOW that some players who still have honorable ribbon, CAN still Possibly HACK.
That being said, The ISSUE itself the LCC. And what we can do to improve, and be well organized at all times with EVERY clan involved with the LCC.
My Idea is just that... AN IDEA.
Never said that's what needs to happen.
Just Thinking outloud. I wanted to see what reactions i'd get... and What would be LEGIT pros and cons of this idea.
So yeah.. -

Most of you already know this though.
We'll be holding an event in the provided channel and date.
This is for all LCC members. Go support this and hope to see you there. I'll be on Mumble all day, I think, on that day. There will be rewards (ZP). So yessss. Go support this! -
LCC Council
I would like to open up a conversation about the leadership of the LCC. I feel there should be some sort of committee (as was discussed early on in this thread). It's unfair to Kim for her to be the sole individual responsible for the success or failure of the coalition.
A leadership team, council, or committee would be able to spread around the responsibilities among themselves so that one person doesn't have to be the one doing all the behind the scenes work. This committee would not have to have permanent members; the leaders could change every few months or as needed when leaders choose to take a break or resign from the committee.
What would this committee do?
- come up with some form of documentation with regards to the goals and mission and member rules of the LCC
- make rules regarding the admission of clans to the LCC
- review clans wishing to become LCC members
- keep the LCC clan list updated for both member clans and non-LCC players/clans
- field questions or complaints about LCC member clans (these could be from other member clans or non-LCC players/clans)
- watch submitted replays to arrive at a collective conclusion about the legitness/non-legitness of LCC players
- address issues with member clans
- maintain the LCC website/forums
- organize LCC events
- keep member clans abreast of any news regarding the LCC
... I'm sure there are many other jobs this council could perform, but hopefully you get the picture.
I hope this is not taken in any way, shape, or form as any kind of negative viewpoint on the job Kim has done so far with the LCC. I think she has done an outstanding job, and she should absolutely continue as one of the leaders of the group. It's just my opinion that two heads are better than one and running this group could wind up being a little more than one person can handle.
Please don't assume this post is just me lobbying to be on the above committee. If asked, I would certainly consider it, but this has nothing to do with me. It is simply my opinion that some form of leadership committee would be extremely beneficial in determining the success of the LCC. -
Rush, this is not a government. We do not watch over millions of people not to mention there is no way we can "punish" a clan besides kicking them out. And what good would kicking them out do? You don't get much privileges besides getting to say "I'm in the LCC!"
(at least for me, I saw no difference in the before and after process)
And we already have a small council, Kim, Notice, and Kat.
A large council would just cause more problems, Kim would have to watch over THEM to make sure they are just denying people because of bad experience. -

Okay, That's our point.. ALL you do get to say is " I'm in the LCC" But, with a COUNCIL that is Organized anything could be possibly. Like LCC Tournaments, Home Events, ZP Giveaways, and a form of security Knowing you WILL be playing with Legit Players when you play in these tournaments, events etc...
And NO, Kim wouldn't have to WATCH over the Council.. WTF is that? A Dictatorship?
A Council are members who EVERYONE VOTES upon to represent them, I'd say 5-10 Council members should be enough ( depending on how big the LCC actually gets )
We Are Talking about creating a better community for this game. Right now it's not really work out. But the possibilities of making an amazing community by OURSELVES is endless. -

I'm pretty sure I didn't say anything about punishing clans, nor Kim watching over the council. My recommendation is that Kim be a part of the council, not watching over it.
Also, I talk to Kat nearly every day about the LCC. Unless there is something going on that she is not sharing with me, the council you speak of is doing very little at this point. No offense intended by that whatsoever, it's just that things seem to have stalled out a little at this point. The LCC website, for all intents and purposes, has no activity, and there is very little conversation about the coalition even in this thread. -
