Kinda pathetic how somebody can say something like that. There are people who lost their homes, being torn by wind, and water, losing power... and somebody comes along saying "just a little rain".
If you don't have the decency to postpone your tournament, you don't deserve to host tournaments. Stop giving us your stories about how phillipinos played while there was flooding in their cafes, because it's completely different. If there was flooding, you are indoors, you can still play. When you have power outages, you shouldn't be forced to make a change because an ignorant fat kid host doesn't postpone it for a week or two.

Btw doop, there are people who live outside of apparentment buildings unlike yourself, with homes near water, where they get flooded easier then sleeping with your mom. Say anything you want about me doop, that i'm "bad" or anything you'd like. I don't play echo 8 no longer simply because of people like you. You may be better then me, I don't really care. I have a life outside of Crossfire, I don't make deadlines and not care about people who are losing their homes. As for your stories once again on how you called your family/friends in New York. If you were half the person you say you are, you'd realize the problems New Yorkers are having and postpone. Gawd dam, if you can't handle a 1-2 week delay, give this tournament (that's supposed to bring e8 community together, not disrespect half of the community) to somebody else.
Truth hurts, your an ignorant fat kid who can't postpone his tournament for 1-2 weeks simply because he's butthurt for scheduling. -

It's quite apparent the people affected by the hurricane should put their personal lives in front of a tournament with little to no prizes that is being played just for fun and the spirit of competition. If you can't see this I don't know what to tell you.
You are right. I should postpone LPK indefinitely. I'll rename it to ESG 2.0 for ya. This tournament is on a deadline for a reason. To get it finished before WCG Grand finals. This isn't a tournament for players like yourself. This is a tournament so top teams can get good practice in before the grand finals.
In 2 weeks I have hosted a 32 cup tournament filled with top teams and helped to bring WOGL back to the game. If you don't play competitively who are you to tell me how to run events? I am constantly talking to the top players in the game trying to see how things can be done better.
Let me show you a timeline since you obviously don't seem to understand how dates work.
Week 1 matches postponed 2 weeks:
1st match deadline: November 13th
2nd match deadline: November 15th
3rd match deadline: November 20th
Playoffs Round 1: Delayed another 5 days because of thanksgiving.
Playoffs Round 1: November 26th
Whoops. Ran out of time. The WCG grand finals are Nov. 29th - Dec. 2nd.
Looks like we don't finish on time. Looks like we failed at the whole point of this cup (give the teams going to china the best practice available).
I don't see how I can be any more accommodating. I've already allowed teams unlimited roster changes for those who are affected by the hurricane.
Were my comments out of taste. Definitely. Am I sorry for hurting anyone's feelings who were affected by the hurricane. 100%. You may not know me very well, but I get things done.
Also, you don't play echo 8 because of people like me? You have never played with me. I go out of my way to help people. You can ask any of my teammates what they think of me. Guarantee they will all give you positive answers (except maybe mykL, he's still a bit upset. Whoops.). Get off your pedestal and grow up.
Also I would like you to name players who are affected by the hurricane and planned on participating in my cup. There's only a handful. Should everything grind to a halt for the minority? What about the other 200+ players?
Just for you. This will be the last tournament I ever host. I hope you enjoy the old cf. The cf where there are 0 teams practicing, and 0 events to play in. -
