This thread probably came up several times already, but I'm too dumb to find it...........so might as well make this thread.

How do you set up 800x900 res with black bars on a 21' monitor.

-Have a NVIDIA graphics card driver.

You mean 800x600

1. What monitor do you have.
2. Windows xp or 7.

Nvidia control panel > Adjust desktop size and position > Set the scaling mode to Aspect Ratio. Should keep the aspect ratio of any resolution changed to.
