BUT
Just because someone is 18+ doesn't mean they have a job or will pay for their sh1t in china.
I guess I just never really asked my parents to pay for anything related to gaming. I assumed other people were the same. -

overall why spend $2,200 to go to china just to play unless you're for sure you're going to win? What the prize money for 1st place and 2nd? -

That is what I kept saying all of nationals, this ain't a vacation. We are here to win a tournament. Sadly we blow ****, but that is another point entirely. -
1st - 5k ea i think
i think it's gonna be more this year.
Anyways, this could have been all avoided if pdf played like they always do in scrims.
didnt happen in Qualifier #1
didnt happen at Nationals
and hell not happening in China if they end up going
this isnt an insult to pdf, just straight facts -

don't forget about taxes as well.
Depending on your income bracket you will pay either 13% ($621.4) or 25% ($1195) tax.
This would make it between ~$3585-$4158, now doing state (for me it's 6%) the final take home would be ~$3370-$3908.
Either way, a win would net a gain. -
After paying the korean cash prize tax, you end up with 4780 take home.

3370 - 3908 individually, or completely..?
