If you get passed the initial splash screen and then nothing its probably your hdd. look in the bios and see if its recognised.
Altho crossfire obviously has its problems for some people it seems any AV virus warnings are all false and therefore its probably you surfin the net with no protection thats done it and got the VIRUS its just you got a warning when crossfire could no longer function and closed.
There are free anti-virus programs so there no need not to have any protection and if you surf the net without any you deserve what you get.
You will need to reformat with either the built in "factory restore partition" or the recovery discs that came with the pc. -
Ok I reinstalled CF I was playing fine for like 5 minutes I go to the bathroom come back and I get a error that CF has some virus so I restart PC and my Pc was wiped cleaned NO window's vista no NOTHING so ty I have to get a new PC

now about ur virus thats real sad i suggest u either try to back up and run safe mode or u bring it to ur local retailer from the brand ur pc is from they will repair it -

Like BlinbdRob said, the game did not wipe out your computer. While some antivirus software has detected false positives with the game, there is no malicious code in it. Especially nothing that would wipe out your windows installation. My guess is that you had a virus on your system that had gone unnoticed by your antivirus software, as many rootkits do.

Most likley it just happend to find the CF glitch at the same time as another virus. The CF virus scare was really just one little line of programing, I'm guessing, that closely resmbled the artemus trojan, and because McAfee is so over protective it found that line and deleted the EXE.
