_Quack's (not awful) WCG BLOG! (PT.II)

I had some good discussion with a lot of the CF players throughout the weekend. Discussion and perceptions of players went like this (cl_politically_correct 0; cl_nice 0):

Sype: Probably the only player that has an actual real life outside of gaming or school. He says I should be an anesthesiologist. I wouldn't want to become something that I can't spell. It is fricking hard to become one of those. I'd really like to be on a team with him - he is very mature. Mature mature mature.

Doooooooooooooop: he obviously thinks i am really cute and has a giant crush on me which is cool i guess. He a homonerd stuck in a homofratboy's body. He is AMAZING at making excuses and is quite full of himself. Definitely the kind of player everyone wants on their team because he likes winning so much. I will continue to spam him on xFire and keep in contact with him.
DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP

Minty: Pedophile. I am certain that I am better than him at awping and always have been. Wore a leather jacket if I'm not mistaken - definitely an asian thing to do. He was a very nice guy despite the things I have just mentioned. It was very fun to play pool with him and he is good at having a good time. He definitely left me with a great impression.

Remix: He is good to play with because he is an easy frag. Obviously didn't care about the game. Also a hothead sore loser. (didn't attend bowling).
LPK should've made a better roster decision.

an0ther: I hung out with him watching some of the games after LPK got knocked out. He was a really cool dude. Kindof a lowtalker but he was just very genuine and nice. Id like to be on a team with this guy too - even if his amazing performance at LAN versus us might have been a little bit of a fluke.

Popz: Didn't really see him much even though we were on the same team. He seemed like he didn't really care. Oh well good luck in the future I guess.

Chrissay: I honestly have only negative things to say about him after the LAN. He probably said like 3 things while he was around me and looking back he was not very interesting on planning things before the upcoming tournament.

chubrub: The commentator almost laughed when he said your name. I am sorry I could not put more time into preparation. I changed from AWP to m4 for you and tried very hard to get good with the gun. I went from being terrible with automatics to being able to hold my own versus some of the better players in the game. I am glad we ironed out the hate we had before the LAN. Thank you for being my teammate for the past 7 years. I would love to continue being teammates. Swag swag yolo. (~T|L|H~ represent)

Quack: He is an awesome duck when you get to really interact with him. He is very honest and up front with people but he is nice about it. He is very conscious about the reputation he builds for himself.

ubaD: I remember when you were starting out the game. I had no idea you changed your name and I was like "who is this guy" when everyone was talking about you. You were very nice in person and I don't understand the dynamic you have with Hammertime. Thank you for letting me crash in your hotel with you guys.

RALF <3 <3 <3: Ralf is the number one player in crossfire. He always has been and he always will be. He carries HRG and he is a dominant player in every aspect of the game. Even though I was a little bit too shy to talk to him he was very nice and I blushed when he said he remembered me spamming his name and saying hi a few times. It was a little sad though because he didn't really know about me at all. I guess its because I haven't been super-active in the past few months or so.

Erick: Easily the most "professional" attitude at the entire LAN (yes, even more than doop). He was the emotional backbone of his team and it was amazing to see how much he cared when ralf was basically having an emotional breakdown (hissy-fit) because of his mouse issues. HRG will not be the same at all if they go to china (which I doubt they will). He is an active community member, and I would like to see him do big things with his connections/networks in crossfire. I rate this guy 10/10. He dug me so much - literally all over me. Must've been my outrageous amount of swag.

Harvey: I don't even know who this is. gg.

Brando: He was too shy to talk to me really either because of my swag or my fame. I think he is even more of a low talker than Minty and an0ther combined - and that is saying a lot. And I am prettty sure that he also wore a leather jacket - maybe he just wishes he was minty. Either way he had some very good clutches.

16oLLLLL - He was really nice at the lan. I enjoyed hanging out with him even though his humor is sometimes more dry than mine. He played well especially when I was sitting on his laptop. Also his girlfriend is very cool - I definitely approve of their relationship and it was cool to be around them because they were not toooo "couple-y" (even though my opinion means nothing at all). I would like to see him focus more on school though - gaming isn't super important one's outlook on school is very important especially in later years. It is a darn shame that he will not be at PSU when I am there. That would've been awesome. We could all lan and pewpew. Hopefully he'll join in a LANfest one of these days.

mav: I thought this guy would be a total d1ckhead. He wasn't though and he warmed up to me once when he realized that I am really nothing to fear. He has great skill in the game and even greater ambitions for himself, the team, and crossfire as a whole. He is c0cky as balls when he gives an interview though. Maybe he should work on some humility but hey.. I guess being that good and that revered will do that to the best of them (except erick).

umaD: To me, he is the epitome of "speak softly but carry a big stick." He is a big dude that is very driven. It was cool to see the interaction between him and his brother. I was trying to talk a lot with both of them but they didn't say toooo much. I guess that is because they were completely exhausted and I wasn't really at all. I was also quite impressed with how he transitioned from being ultra-clutch in one of the matches - to absolutely terrible 0-X in another match and then bouncing back in the last match to hold his own when he really needed to. Well played.

Ghandi: I didn't really get to talk to this guy at all. We kinda just exchanged "hello's" and he supported me during my match which was really cool. He has ADD off of the wall when he is playing and he therefore plays like a total idiot (which I have said a lot in pt.I) I am surprised none of the teams truly capitalized on his truly dumb style of play. Oh well though I guess people aren't used to a guy rushing in versus 5 players and killing two or three of them in the beginning of the round and then dying. Whatever works I guess? Who knows, we will see. I have been on a team with him and it was quite frustrating having one player be a rogue agent and the rest follow a strat.
Mav calls Ghandi "gando" and it is really gay.

Albert: I literally knew nothing about this guy before the LAN. He is the exact opposite of ghandi - he plays with a brain. He may not have the best aim in the game (he doesn't) but he EASILY makes up for it in brains. It was cool to see such a young player be so active in the forums/community and have a lot of passion for his team as well. I am a huge fan after his showing at the LAN - even if I think his team-promoting blogs and stuff are very vanilla and boring.

Twerk: Didn't know this guy going into the LAN..didn't know him coming out. I remember him playing well online if I am not mistaken.

Banks: Even though he and I are friendly online I didn't really talk to him at all at the LAN. Oh well he is a nice guy online he would probably be a nice guy in person. Played well but definitely shouldn't have had that clutch that everyone has a hard-on for.

Twinny: Didn't know this guy going into the LAN..didn't know him coming out. However, I have seen him make 3 posts on the forums recently that have been ABSOLUTELY MORONIC in nature. Soooo yea... I don't really know what to think... maybe I'm just seeing a bad side of him.

Wizdom: Didn't know this guy going into the LAN..didn't know him coming out. I honestly have no idea who this guy is. And now that I think about it Jeden was really racist for not talking to me and just hanging out with themselves basically. Sheesh.

UltimatePOV: Easily my favorite player on Jeden. He is very nice and he actually remembered my awp which was a nice surprise. It would have been nice to talk with or hang out with him more. He is a young gun and I would like to see him do great things further into the future. I might be his number one fan.

CLOSING STATEMENTS:
That LAN was a giant event in my gaming career. I don't really know where to go from here though. It is difficult for me to be a very active player and get consistent practice in every day. I am honestly considering making a team of players that have the same time restraints. I would love to continue to play with chubrub and maybe some players from LPK. I hear of the auspicious future of crossfire competitive gaming in the future and I would love to be a part of it. I guess I'm just trying to find my place.
It was very nice getting to interact with some of the players at the LAN. I was actually amazed at the fun that everyone was willing to have after being beat and I liked how Hammertime was not too c0cky about their win.
Good jobs all around.
