Hey Crossfire community, I just wanted to start off saying that I really appreciated all the people who watched and supported us, along with the messages that they sent to me. It was actually overwhelming how many people were following and cheering for us, something like 4000 people were watching, which is a huge increase in viewers from any previous cast in North American Crossfire. Anyways, instead of making this thread an essay, I thought I'd list my thoughts
- I'm really proud of my team, I have to say we f'ed up a lot but we were all making amazing plays that made a huge difference.
- We came close to losing twice, once against the underdogs, Jeden, and once against HRG, which were actually considered the favorites by plenty of people on the cast chat (from what I've heard) and forums. These losses were actually a big gift to us, because we have so much to learn that I can't imagine how good we will be once we apply everything.
- I'd like to thank the ESS Agency for arranging the event, Steven from SGI for giving both me and my team advice and support, and the SGI organization themselves for showing such support for North American Crossfire.
--On to all the people I met:
- A huge congrats to Gex aka Anthony, who finally got to take his first step in his dream of casting and I am really proud of how well he casted. He was invited to cast in Europe by Steven from SGI, who was an amazing guy who really gave me a TON of insight into both me and my team, which REALLY set things into perspective for us. I hope Gex will get to take the next steps in casting, and actually make a career out of it because I know that it's his passion and I know the feeling you get when you start achieving dreams which at one point seemed like only dreams.
- Albert is a gangsta, had so much fun with him, and proud of him for owning it up at the event, people kept egging on that he wouldn't be good on lan, but what now mof***as?
- Ghando aka Ghandi aka Andre aka Andrew aka Thunderhorse aka Demon7, was ****ing hilarious, especially with his crazy shena****ns during the games. We exchanged mad laughs over all that ****, and I'm proud of him for proving to the community that cheats have nothing to do with how good he is.
- Garrett is a baller as usual, it's always nice to see him because we spend like 15 hours of the day on mumble playing games together.
- Hunter is a funny guy, hasn't changed at all since I saw him last in Korea, we had a lot of fun traveling together, and buying things from vending machines
- Tyler is exactly the same as he has always been, a big NERD...but I still enjoyed his company =D, it was also nice to meet his girlfriend who somehow puts up with him, cus I think I'd probably murder him if I spent that much time with him =p
- I met Popz aka Luis, and Leapy aka Chase, both of which were nice to meet. Popz sounded JUST like he does on mumble and was ****ing hilarious cause he used his own 5 dollar headset instead of the $300 headset that they provided for us.
- Leapy aka Chase was a ****ing character as everybody else explained, he was honestly the life of the group throughout the entire time we were hanging out. He loved making bets and losing them, but I think everybody gave him his money back anyways because we all still love him. He also always smiled, which just made everyone else smile as well.
- Chub aka Jon was fun to see, and was just like I remember him online, a cheery guy. He was very supportive and stayed through all of our matches which was very awesome of him =D.
- Quack aka Austin was "the one person who you thought would be a ****** and totally surprised you", haha, was very pleasurable talking with him throughout the event. He also stayed with chub supporting us until the very end, which I honestly can say was very amazing of them both.
- From LPK, I met Doop aka Charlie, Sype aka Sean, Minty aka Peter, and AnotherHS aka Jon. Doop was honestly the same that he is on the forums I thought, he was fun talking to, hopefully he will come back to Crossfire and get together a solid 5 so he can compete in future events. Sype was very nice meeting and talking to, he had a lot of insight into bowling and pool techniques and taught me some which made my game much better. Minty was very fun talking to, I spent a lot of time talking to him last year when we were on the same team, and it was nice actually seeing him. I loved our pool game together, I somehow made an amazing shot on the 8 ball at the end and we were just so shocked that we burst out laughing. AnotherHS was nice meeting as well, me and him never really talked much but we never had any problems, and he also spent time supporting us.
- Team Jeden (pronounced Yeh-dehn apparently), was awesome, it was honestly both hilarious and inspiring to see 5 black guys on the same team. I am so glad they played against us and handed our asses to us on Sub Base, which really showed us how out of practice we really were. I didn't get to speak to any one of them for long besides UltimatePOV, but I know we each had respect for one another, and I am glad that they had such good sportsmanship. The match vs Jeden was probably my favorite match of the event.
- The PDF boys, I honestly didn't speak to them much but they played well and we learned something.
I think I got everybody, but I may come in here and edit in some names, it was a crazy event with a lot of fun and I feel like I am still processing a lot of it.
A HUGE thanks to everybody who watched and supported us, I am overwhelmed with the amount of supporters and me and the rest of Hammertime feel inspired to practice CF.

that was a great game u guys played (finals, although both were good), i know ur not happy with it but it was intense for the viewers haha
yeah I figure it must have been really cool to watch because of how close it was, a few of the audience members behind us told us that they were awesome matches even though we shouldn't have failed so much. =D -
It was the first event of CF that I watched Live, and it was AWESOME! I didn't watch the whole event, but HT vs Jeden and HT vs PDF. Both games were pretty intense and in the finals I jumped up and yelled(cause u won n stuff). I woke up my mum, who was very mad cause I wasn't supposed to stay up so late (it was like half past 1).

You are gay.i'm going to be really mad if i don't come across the word "verm" in any of the vlogs.
i was always there to support you when you weren't as overhyped!
Oh well, you're not going to get mentioned.
Don't be such a hipster.
-1 to you. -
-
if you gave me a call, i could have gotten you in. We sneaked tyla's gf and ghandi's sister and her bf in.
-.- I only have mav's number and i talked to him regarding the no-ticket issue the day before
I called someone who was working at the venue that day and he said it's probably sold out but just to make sure i called the help desk and they said that they were sold out for the time being. Considering i've been to jacob javits many times before i assumed they had decent security lol. Maybe next year
both sneaked and snuck can be used -
Bowling Master. I even showed Craig some bowling tips!
It was good to meet you and I wish we had more time to talk about crossfire than I wanted. You seemed pretty busy and I didn't want to interrupt. It was a good experience to watch your team from behind.
Represent USA well; bring home the gold for us. -

Hah xD I'm so glad you stayed and watched though! Trust me it really means a lot to us knowing we have people supporting us -

@al: I really hope CF is gonna grow but that's exactly what everyone said last year after wcg and CF has gotten nothing but smaller.
Thanks. All I think I should say is that the future of CF does look a **** ton brighter now than it did only a few days ago. As I mentioned b4, I spent some time talking with a rep from SGI and I really liked what I heard. -

Ditto. Thanks for staying and supporting us, and now that we learned a bunch I think we can give everybody in China a run for their money -

I really hope to see Hammertime continue to grow and compete at the best level and in all the upcoming events that happen with the game!
Thanks Saidin, it means a lot to both me and my team that you posted
