I was wondering should i download a program called crossfire cleaner
it says it restore files and blah blah
its on a hacking website but it got good feedback
im scared i might get hacked

Instead of downloading an "UNtrusted" program, try downloading trusted and verified programs. -

It is not untrusted, it is approved as a legitimate file. -
it wont fix your gun's broken textures though (you could fix that by downloading the rez file that contains kriss-LM i think it's RF016/RF017 but i cant remember)
As for the cleaner, no it will not 'hack you' (if you were to download it, it must have been aprooved=legit)
I do advise you not to download it as it's 3rd party and it will go against the T.O.S (even though it has no affect in-game) its main function is to remove cheat files from your crossfire folder/automatic injection methods (not to clean your rez folder) -

they come with cf when you download it, mabey your antivirus or whatever kept removing the file because it was a 'threat' but ask your freind to upload his for you? im not sure what the exact file of the textures are stored in.. -
Btw, he said that he saw it from a hacking site. So, you trust hacking tools?
Why would you not? Just because it's a site that released hacks doesn't mean you can't trust them. If everything they released had keyloggers and stuff, it wouldn't be good for the site >< -

Its best that you dont ever trust something from any hack site.Its risky as well.Hack sites are hack sites,there's nothing good thats offered from them or good about them. -
I've downloaded this program a long time ago and I know exactly what your talkin about. It does nothing to your computer but clean up your rez and hacks from your crossfire folder. This is coming from first hand experience. Why do you think my main was banned --"
