www.wcgcanada.net

Dear all participants for the WCG Canadian Qualifiers,

Over the past week you have been able to sign up and register for the Online Qualifiers at our website. Within the next 24 hours there will be an e-mail sent to all participants that are signed up on the website regarding guidelines, and expectations that are required before matches begin on Friday, September 28th, 2012. If you have not set the proper details in your profile on our website, you are advised to do so as soon as possible - this means your team name, your game ID followed by any other required information that is listed on the website (additional requirements, if any, will be listed in the e-mail sent to you).

Below will be all vital information that players and teams need to review and know, such as the schedule, maps being played and contacting other teams.
There are a good amount of people that need to still place their 'TEAM NAME' in their profile. To do so, go to www.wcgcanada.net > Login > Click 'Edit my profile' > Ensure your team name is the EXACT same as your team mates, we will be bunching users together judging on their team name placement, even if it may be spelled different.

Match Communications

All teams are required to have ONE team captain that will take the role of communicating with other teams captains. Selected captains are expected to be in the Live Chat feed which is located on our website; www.wcgcanada.net. If a team captain can find other communications with the other teams leader they are scheduled to play such as, xFire, Skype, or any other messengers, you may do so - but remember only team captains of each team may only do communications. In the case of a team captain being unable to play a match, one player of the team must be selected to take on the role of team captain and is expected to do the exact same duties as the previous captain was suppose to do.

*Please look at the Live Match Bracket below to find out which team (if you are participating) is playing.

Anti-Cheat

WCG Canada will be using the 'Universal Anti-Cheat' (UAC 3) along with the requirement of running BandiCam, or Fraps during every match played, at all times. Downloads will be included in this thread along with guides. (** Please read below the information of UAC for information about MATCH ID's! THEY MUST BE USED. **)
*Please try to use your IN-GAME NAME as your display name for UAC. It makes it much easier for us to keep track of users.*

Match ID's:

Seeing how we are unable to hand out Match ID's to each team, we will be doing it in a much easier way.

If you are in the MAIN BRACKET, your match ID's will be 'wcgbracketNUMBER', replace 'NUMBER' with your bracket number. For example, for the first bracket, you will use 'wcgbracket1'. Another example would be if you are in the fourth bracket, you will use 'wcgbracket4'.

If you are in the LOSERS BRACKET, your match ID's will be ''wcglosebracketNUMBER', replace the 'NUMBER' with your bracket number. For example, for the first loser bracket, you will use 'wcglosebracket1'. Another example would be if you are in the third bracket, you will use 'wcglosebracket3'.

** ANY PLAYER FOUND NOT USING MATCH ID'S AND/OR FAILS TO UPLOAD THEIR FILES WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY BE DISQUALIFIED UNTIL THE QUALIFIER ADMIN HAS OVERVIEWED EVERYTHING. **

Match Disputes

All players hold the right to dispute other teams that break the official rules. This ranges from illegal equipment, illegal boosting, illegal software (cheats, etc.) and so forth. All match disputes must be directed to the Administrator within 10 minutes after the match has been played. Once the Administrator has been notified, all screenshots and replays will be uploaded and the Match Set that the dispute is taking place in will be paused - The Administrator holds all rights to make all final decisions.
