  • Sorry for being a man down?

Like I said in game, not my fault John crashed.
Calling us noob after we say gh, that's pretty disrespectful.
Saying gh is just good sportsmanship.

EDIT: Just trying to be friendly, I don't understand why people talk so much sht in the game.

We say gh whether we lose, win, play a man down, man up, get destroyed. Long as its a good match against a legit team it's worth a good half.

I have a feeling you didn't read my post. If you say "gh" no matter what you clearly have lost meaning of the word.

You're mentally handicapped and beyond help. When you gain enough IQ please read my post to learn something new.

If you have time to read, please read and learn a thing about CW/scrim etiquette. If there is a dc, the team with a man up clearly has the advantage. If you want to ""gh" you should say "gh, too bad about dc" or "sorry about dc, gh though". Might not seem like that to you, even if you have good intentions, but you have to realize that it may have been a gh to you, but playing a man down always results in extra stress for the opposing team. The last thing they want to see is a "gh" appearing on the screen. However, using the two ideas above diffuses the tensions most times and can build a future relationship. If the other team still gets angry than at least you can assure yourself that it wasn't you who initiated it.

I'll never straight up say "gh" if there was an error, dc, or obvious lag issue. If so, show me and ss please. Aight so that's saint's bi-weekly rage post. I hope I presented it in a more civil manner.

Putting this on "the next page" in-case a nameless clan is capable of reading a longer post.

How is a good match 5 v 6? For you of course!

I wish Theory could beat Veracity without being a man or two up. Unless you count that one time where there was no Veracity S5 member and JAGUAR went into his God mode that never appears on bandi. I still haven't figured out why he isn't in Detox. (Unless he just looses his touch in tournaments)

Next time Veracity wins with a man down I'll make sure I spam GH/GG and thank you for being a legit clan to play against! After all playing with a man advantage is very challenging and results in good competitive, back and forth games!

    gh.
  • Just to clear things up cause I don't think I can explain what a gh is anymore than what I have previously said, but I realize just like many things in this world it has completely lost it's meaning.

Theory is a good clan and I in my rant did not say, nor did I mean to imply, that Theory sucks. It is just frustrating when a DC jeopardizes and sabotages any chance of it being a good match, recently the 3 dc/error match where Veracity went 6-3, to 2-7 and the John DC/massive first half lag going from a 3-1 lead to an eventual loss.

I understand poo happens and you just move forward, but when something like gh is used inappropriately it drives me up the wall and off to China. It's like the word love between couples, for many it has lost it's meaning. (Best example in my head right now).

Ah thank you! It's good to see that, good to know you actually undertstand what a GG/GH is. Also, if you haven't done so already please read my recent post above.

    1) we have beaten you many a time, and once we go 7-2, youre gone at half.
    2) Jaguar has a bandi of him going into godmode, subtle accusations arent helping you.
    3) just to clarify, in case you dont understand my point: sportsmanship. I could care less about one of you DC'ing, it helps us. Its not anything on my side that causes you to dc, but your own clanmates computer.

What I propose is for both of us, especially you, to stop talking sht on the forums and play a 5v5 scrim in any east coast server. Then it will be totally fair.

Oh wait, you might cry about losing a round 4v5
  • How about you all lose your egos for a moment and listen up.

You're both good clans, at times one will lose to another, then you will get the odd player that will just straight up trash talk, ignore it. Stop basing a whole clan off of a few words that were thrown around by one or two players, that's silly.

    Take a chill pill men.

I guess defending my clan is trash talk. I never said bad about anybody.

Please quote me once where I trashed Theory as a clan.

I questioned whether they won a legit match recently, which Aero provided and I was happy to see it.

I trashed Konrad because he obviously doesn't know what "gh" means or stands for.

I trashed Jaguar cause I am always curious how a player can go so good to so bad.

Overall, I have complemented Theory more than twice and have did my best at first to avoid any forum conflict whatsoever.

I also not "ego foruming" as I also stated that the loss isn't what made me mad, but the fact "gh" is thrown around without it's meaning anymore. This was not directed towards anyone in particular until some players got all butt hurt about it.

It was posted on my thread (not Theory's) and kept the post as a general statement where the public wouldn't have known "the clan". However (and here is my first direct clan insult) immature children went on posting random retaliation, which was completely uncalled for. In this conflict I see no blame can be put on me.

Why are you defending your clan when my initial statement mentioned nothing of Theory? It was intended for the general public and explained what sportsmanship was. Sure I went on a rampage in the 2nd half which lost my team the half, but I didn't bring it to the forums. In fact it inspired me to write a post, which would hopefully remind clans what a gh really stands for.

Again here is the "first post" for reference. It is unedited and as you can see and mentions nothing of Theory. The fact that they have the balls to start posting random poo in my recruitment thread is beyond my comprehension.

The hypocrisy, and the blind, innate carelessness for your own discretion in that post, or any of your posts, is mind boggling.

But to strengthen Aero's point, "good half" or "good game" isn't supposed to be a gesture for what constitutes a fair match. Unforeseen circumstances like disconnecting are unfortunate, but that doesn't mean you have the right to complain about why you lost, or that you have to defend it not being a "good half".

It's a gesture of good sportsmanship, and if you can't suck it up and sit quiet through the exchange, that's your egotistical problem, not everyone else's.

When a team in any sport is forced to forfeit, and everyone lines up to shake hands and say "good game", the forfeiting team doesn't spit in the winner's face. There's no leading context by the winning team. Sympathy/pity is unnecessary.

    Gets busted, changes name immediately.

    Says he didn't cheat.

Asks for rematch with him on bandicam.

    Goes 4-14.

    Doesn't say a word.

Plays me again saying "where's awm? let him make another bust!"

    Goes 5-14.

    No problem.

I've been using BandiCam for a while now, I've just started uploading videos.

I'd love to play another game.
It's great to see you stepping your game up when you play us. The m14 is a nice touch, too.

And what do you expect me to do when you start the match with playful trash talk? I thought it was funny, and you should have made that bust video for the 5-14. It'd be just as good/beleivable as the first.

Edit: For anyone wondering, I changed my name a month after the video came out.

People not knowing my name was "Just_Brad" before CrispyPeeks and that video is their problem, not mine.

Lol, both the matches you used patriot, armor. I used m4. I think I used m14 for one round... and I picked it up from the ground.

Posting only your bandicams from playing horrible brasilians, and skillless asians isn't very difficult. If you want to impress me or anybody for that matter, why not go drop your first 20 bomb in an echo 8 scrim. Please.

Also, your name was CrispyPeeks for atleast 1 year before you changed it after being busted. It's okay to be angry. Just please stop saying stupid things like "You used m14". It's quite alright to be angry man, we all get angry at times. Anyways, I'll let you keep venting in this thread, or whereever you may please, but it's time for me to go play some more PS3.

    Have a nice day!

A year?! No. I've been in WeAreLegion for a year. The name came around in September-October. I had the name "CrispyPeaks" when I was in Potential as a joke when we merged with PreFire back in late 2011, and (I think) Deezy kept saying it. When we brought up the name from going through old matches, I got the name on impulse. It never really stuck until you made that video.

And you did use M14 the entire match on Santoria the last time we played. I most likely have the recording to prove it.

We used nothing but M4 and AK. I assume you switched weapons before the game preparing for us to use patriot (which is understandable), but the deniability only makes you sound weak.

I don't play Echo 8, why start now? And I don't have many recordings because people like COUGH COUGH Veracity and detox never play us.
  • I don't think one person gets to define what "good half" means. It might mean different things to different people at different times. But in any case, there's not much sense in taking offense where none was given. Just my opinion.

    As for jaguar.
He did bad the first half and amazing the second half. 3-6 to 12-3 I believe. It's all on bandi. People have bad games/matches/halves you can't always perform amazing. He p1sses us off in interclan scrims as much as he p1sses off others with his weird/amazing gameplay. But he bandi's when requested and makes the same exact shots.

As for the "General statement", it's still an attack on a passive level. We knew it was about us. Sitting back as people say things about us even though nobody knows it's about us so they get satisfaction of getting it out there but none of the recoil. That's not gonna slide.

Saying good half / good game whether there were disadvantages or not is the epitome of sportmanship. You think after a little league game if their main pitcher who basically carries the team got injured and caused them to lose that they wouldn't go out and say good game and shake hands? This is where a lot of people are taught sportmanship, in their young age.
  • Saint, I have nothing against you or your clan but you're just embarrassing yourself right now. Just stop.

  • Ok so I would like to apologize for not getting this post out sooner, but do to school I was unable to do so. I hope that this might conclude the needless drama that came out of nowhere and out of nothing. I’d first like to express that it would be appreciated if you could take some time to actually read this, otherwise you miss the point and it’s a waste of my time. ( I highlight main points and star “must reads”)

I’d first like to express how this forum continues to amaze me. Who would’ve know that one person’s view on a GH/GG on their own recruitment thread, directed to no one besides the general public could send so many people into an oblivion. Then again it is the Z8 forums (I won’t get into further detail to avoid conflict).

So this all started with a single post, this one to be exact. It is unedited and untouched, exactly how it was when originally posted. The seed if you will, that somehow grew to something that is ravaging two good clans and dragging additional bystanders into the black hole. This post must be bad, somehow being racist, trashing a clan, or something that would cause a fuss. However let’s read it (I highlighted the main points).

***Hmmm, let’s see. Saint obviously has a strong view on a GH/GG. He makes some good points but hey, we all have our different views. He did mention of a cw today, but I have no clue who that is because he made no reference to them in the post, however they must be good since he gave them a couple of compliments. He’s just not happy about 2 letters, oh well, his recruitment thread, his view. Doesn’t affect me and I don’t agree with it, but I’m just moving on because it doesn’t affect me.

Switching from my 3rd person narration the clan that I referred to (but didn’t mention them to avoid conflict) started a fuss. Ironic that it was I who didn’t want to expose them, but they exposed themselves. If they hadn’t commented no one besides the two clans would’ve known who was referred too. Although one smart representer of Theory explained their point of view of it being as passive insult the damage was already done and it was too late. It would’ve saved everyone a lot of hurt if this was mentioned first thing, whisper or PM would’ve been the most effective, and I would’ve used another example. It was never in my conscience or intentions for this to be insulting to the other clan (why I added some compliments to it). Trust me though, if I want to insult an individual, clan, or group I make it as blatent as possible. I’m not a fan of “passive insults”.

Of course it all went downhill and off-topic from there. I responded with krap and then more krap was handed back and all appeared to be a miscommunication (clicked for me after Aero’s post). Although I thought it was a green light and wouldn’t cause any issues people clearly thought otherwise. One thing people should know about me is I am a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde when comparing myself ingame and forums. I rarely carry over from ingame to the forums. That post had nothing to do with judging or insulting Theory’s opinion of GH/GG. Perhaps I was a bit blunt in communicating my point, but that was my intention.

***So to wrap things up I want to clear up my end, apologizing to Konrad and Jags. Konrad I shouldn’t have immediately called you mentally handicapped as you’re clearly capable of typing and making sense (unlike 1/5 people in these forums). You have your view of a GG/GH and I have mine. I’ll respect that and won’t react in the future. Too Jags I’m sure he just laughs. Everyone has their bad games but it was just funny that within a span of 1 hr he went from being super aggressive / fragging like a champ to someone who was hesitant to push and struggled to stay positive. A safe conclusion is that he didn’t fit with the team and I wish him luck in the future.

***However, I am reluctant and will not apologize for the initial post as it was opinion to the public, not a passive insult. Call me arrogant, stubborn, strong opinioned, and proud, for I admit I hold these traits. I am known in my circle of friends to never be swayed by a groups opinion, no matter how outnumbered I am. I probably developed these strong traits due to the fact I have one arm. It’s served me will to remain confident in who I am, pushed me to do things two handed people are reluctant to do, and so on. I don’t bring that up as a “look at me”, but rather an explanation to my fiery competitive side which always can be found in the clan server or a FFA.

Well if you lasted this far thanks for reading the essay. To end I would like to start fresh, restate my initial opinion and move on with no further conflict.

**In my opinion GG/GH lost its meaning. Players toss it around as a “respect gesture” without even considering the scenario their using it in. It’s like saying “good rally” every rally in Badminton, even when the serve hits the net. It makes no sense. Continue to say it and it eventually loses its meaning. For those you play me in the future if I say GG/GH I truly mean it and I admire both sides for their efforts. There were no dc’s, cheats, or errors, just a solid Cross Fire match.

    Peace
