Size of monitor....

I started out on a Samsung 19" LCD monitor, gameplay was very nice compared to my 15" Dell craptop.

Then I bought a Samsung 24" widescreen gaming monitor! Big difference to me in all action scenarios. Close up battles very nice, can see movements very well. LD shooting very very nice, bigger targets for tired eyes!

I went back to 19" last night for a glitch in my particular unit going back and I can honestly say that widscreen 24" rocks compared to 19".

Any find similiar results?
How do laptop players feel going to bigger monitor from smaller laptop screen?

mostly the gooooood gamers use 22inc widescreen as i know, they are really good and helpfully :d

Hmm 22" widescreen I have seen also. 24" does seem alittle big but definitely more enjoyable than the 19"

Any play 22 and 24 and have preference?

I play on a 19".

I have an condition with my left eye where it cannot focus, so i need to lean in a bit closer to my monitor, any bigger wouldnt help my play, probably make it worse.

Id i had better eyes i wouldnt mind a 24" 1920x1200 though.

Meh I use a 15" but now that you bring it up... I may have to buy myself an early Christmas present...

I have a 19" LCD, but my brother lets me test out his 29" monitors for any bugs before he sells. The difference is pretty big, would be nice if CF could support bigger resolution because then it would look better, but the characters do get stretched on bigger monitors and therefore could make it easier in some way.

I usually do my testing on 2142, COD4, or CSS...Not CF. I just know from my experience with 1.6 that stretching on bigger monitors makes everything bigger and easier to spot.

often not realized, wide screen monitors increase your viewing area... as in, you see more of the action. it allows you to have wider peripheral vision. so you are more likely to see the guy in the corner as you walk thru a door. u can test this by duel monitoring , you be amazed at how much more wide screen res shows then the sqaure kind.

i went from a 22 inch CRT(Big Dumb Heavy Things)

to a 22 inch flat screen.

HUGE difference.

As explained above wide screen you can see more.

now they just need to support my 1650x1080 =]

I used my 46inch HD-TV screen trough HDMI and 7.1 HD Sound system. that was awsomeeeee,

but not really game able to bigggggg

I tried using my LG 47" LG HD 1080P instead of my 15" Toshiba laptop screen

The size

The sound

The blood

It scared me:)

I own a 15" laptop and it is OK, but my mom's computer which I occasionally hop on has a 24" monitor. It makes a sizable difference in almost any way I can think of. The only problem is after playing on the 24", going to the laptop is horrible on the eyes.
