XM8 is many times better as the sg552^^
i think xm8 is skill and sg552 is only sprayer gun ^^

well me, i prefer the sg because im alright at single shotting with the scope and to be honest i havn't really used teh xm8 apart from alaska

XM8=Accuracy, the noise wont burn your ear's, NOT a spray gun, very powerful, DOES NOT get a big reticule when spraying, Has a HS magnet scope

I have to agree on the first part, but disagree on the second.

Yes, of course, the XM8 is way better than the SG-552, more accurate, a little more powerful, less noisy, lighter (better design, fu fu fu...)

But no, XM8 is not skill, while SG-552 is spray. I've got to use both of them a lot and I found myself a killer when handling the XM8, while I've had hard time with the SG-552. To kill as many people with the SG as with the XM8 is what require skills and spraying is the worst thing to do with it. Scope, then aim for the head at a low rate of fire is the most efficient way to kill your target (unless at close range). And that needs skill.

With the XM8 being a lot more accurate, scoping is totally useless, I've never used it. Just aim at the head whatever the distance and pop ! you've got a kill. XM8 is like the K2 : a Headshot machine.
