OK so the fix is "turn off my virus protection"

WOW really the only solution yall can give us is to turn my "PROTECTION" off, wow again a hack filled game and you want me to turn my "PROTECTION" off,
come on Z8 talk with xtrap and find out the problem and fix it and not half brained duck tape idea.
oh and by the way expect a support ticket for the 4 days of a ZP weapon and items i am missing out on
while yall tell us to turn our protection off

oh and these are the following problems i have had
black screen (Still)
BSOD 5 times
complete shut down
and a full black screen freezing my whole lap
"you got some fixing to do lucy"

then contact your anti virus company and tell them to fix the issue and to white list the file instead of black listing it

when they respond back let the community know

EDIT: Also yes it sux thats the only current known work around till the current issue is solved.

Me nor z8games force anyone to try it. If you feel this is unsafe then dont do it.

already tried that route McAfee (which seems to be the problem virus protector too) and they said cant add it as a trusted program

well if you feel that someone is gonna corrupt your pc while playing crossfire. then i guess maybe you shouldn't play.

even if it worked with anti virus.

To be honest none of these people are "Hacking" the game.

They are "Cheaters" using something created by someone else.

So really the only issue to worry about would to download from the web and or things like vent where your ip is accessible

FYI I've been playing Crossfire with my antivirus turned off since open beta. I never let realtime scan run while playing any online game. You seem to be confusing multiplayer game "hacks" with actual hacks.

The proper fix (until the antivirus companies update their detections) is to add the game to the exception list of your antivirus. McAfee users are out of luck, since in their infinite wisdom they decided to not allow users to add to the exception list.

yeah to bad i dont trust anyone in anyway so virus scan is staying

If the only thing you have open is the game, there is no danger to your system. Nobody can transmit viruses through the game. The only thing that gets transmitted is player position, bullet direction/velocity, etc. There is no transmission of data directly from one person's computer to another.

i download with out anti virus all the time and in couldnt even tell you how many years ive had ONE virus. ONE and it was from a random site i was trying to watch one my tv shows on

and he is totally correct with this post the things that most dangerous honestly is x-fire and vent
