WCG USA has officially launched two free online qualifying events for Cross Fire players, open to all U.S. citizens, set to take place throughout the months of August and September for qualification directly into the US National Finals. These online tournaments will qualify winning teams to the US National Finals event, set to take place later this year. The winners of the US National Finals will go on to represent Team USA at the 2012 WCG Grand Finals, hosted later this year in Kunshan City, China.
The top finishing teams from each of the online tournaments will receive an auto-berth and travel stipend to the US National Finals event. Additionally, the remaining top 4 teams from each event will receive an invitation to compete at the US National Finals for a total of 8 US National Finals qualifier spots per game.
Registration for the Cross Fire qualification events has officially opened, and is completely free for all participants who reside in the United States!

Additionally, to provide a balanced competitive experience for all participants, WCG will be partnering with MyAntiCheat.com as the official anti-cheat solution for Cross Fire competitors. The MyAntiCheat software will be available to all registered players 24 hours before the first qualification event on Sunday, August 19th.
