resolution

hello
i used to play with resolution 1024×768
but something happened and it became 1440 × 900
the game is too wide .. tried to change game resolution from the game option
nothing happened .. the game is still too wide
my eye hurts me ... can't play with this resolution
notice : happened after setup " nividia driver " graphic card
any help please?
