We have recently identified a problem with the XFire client and Cross Fire.

The problem occurs when the XFire client is currently running while you try and load Cross Fire. It results in a game crash that will not let you load Cross Fire.


We have communicated this problem to both the developers and xfire and will look for a solution from them as soon as possible.

For a temporary solution to the problem please close xfire before loading CF. Once Cross Fire is loaded you can then run the xfire client without any problems.

And to be clear, this problem only exists with XFire at the moment. The game runs perfectly fine otherwise! For other technical issues or to discuss this error please visit our technical support forums:
