Affliction E-Sports is now hosting Weekend Drafts with prizes. Since the competitive Cross Fire side is slowly fading away, we have decided to start hosting drafts and tournaments (in the near future). Down below are lists of all of the requirements, rules, downloads, etc.

NOTE: In order to participate, you must register for the site using your IGN as your User ID on the site and then post on the forum thread confirming yourself so that you can be placed on the eligible list for the upcoming draft! If you show up to the draft and did not sign up, then you must either sign-up or leave the tournament.

Main Rules ~ Should be taken into notice:

Affliction E-Sports and it's staff reserve the right to adapt, change or modify draft rules/regulations appropriately in order to provide equal fairness to all of the players that participate in our drafts.

All players are required to uphold the spirit of fair play at all times. All attempts of trying to outsmart the system we set up will be stopped and punished. The only goal(s) of these drafts are to help revive the competitive side of Cross Fire and prepare all players and teams for upcoming tournaments such as WCG and all other future tournaments.

Rules:

1.) No racism. Period.
2.) No insulting in any way or form.
3.) No posting of inappropriate items including images or ****ography, nudity, or anything similar.

These are the 3 main rules but keep in mind, treat others with respect, don't be stupid.

If anybody is caught violating the rules we will:

1.) Give them a warning.
2.) If they fail to follow rule 1, they will be forfeited from the draft for the day and they will be replaced.
3.) Banned for 1 draft, 2, etc. or permanently. They will also be banned from Mumble.

*Other punishments will be decided based upon the violation.

Prizes

We are relatively new at this so our prizes are currently not that large.

1st place prize:

5 ~ 40k GP Playspan ESN codes to be inboxed to each player (1 per player )

2nd place prize:

5 ~ 20k GP Playspan ESN codes to be inboxed to each player ( 1 per player )

3rd place prize:

5 ~ 50 % EXP + 7 days Playspan ESN code to be inboxed to each player ( 1 per player )

Schedule:

All drafts will be played on Saturdays, 4 PM PST time / 6 PM Central Time

Game Specs:

Games will be played out of 7 rounds both halves
1st person view
10 player slot
2 Observer slot (In case the match will be shoutcasted)

*Whatever score adds up the most will decide the winner of the match. Please take SS and upload them and message a staff member a score in order to move on within the draft. Please refer below to ties.

Leaving the Match (having to go)/Joining other teams

In the case of a player having to leave the match, the match will be put on 'pause' until we pull someone from the Draft Lobby into the team. If the team happens to win, the player that left will NOT be rewarded the prize.

Joining other teams is extremely prohibited and will not be allowed. If you are caught attempting or joining another team, you will be banned from the draft.

Match Locations/Server Location

Since echo 8 (e8) is currently glitched and it will take a long time to enter the server since we will have multiple players attempting to spam it. We have decided to take it to Charlie Server - Channel 1. This is subject to change and we will make an announcement on the Mumble depending on how many people are in server.

Ties:

Tie-breaker game will be played out of 5 rounds both halves
1st person view
10 player slot
2 Observer slot (In case the tie-breaker match will be shoutcasted)

*Whatever score adds up the most in the end will decide the winner of the tie-breaker match. Please take a SS and upload them and message a staff member the image link to the score in order to move on within the draft.

NOTE: No other characters are allowed. All other variations of the weapons are not allowed including all variations of grenades and smokes.

Single-man boosting is allowed, no more than that. Double jumping and bunny hopping is allowed.

Glitching is prohibited at all times throughout the match. Caught glitching or attempting will mean an automatic round to the other team and a warning to the player.

Good sportsmanship is expected throughout the entire match.

Ping Restrictions/Ping Caps

Unlike other drafts, we have Ping Restrictions to make the draft fair in all areas.

The ping cap currently: 120

If a player fails to keep his ping under 120 for longer then 25 seconds, then the player is automatically DQ'd for this draft. If his team wins without him and receives a prize, he will not receive it. The player will have a chance to attempt to lower his ping before having to leave the match. The match will be paused until he is replaced.

Player Eligibility:

All players must be registered on the Affliction E-sports website in order to compete in matches.
You may only play on one team per tournament, including multiple accounts.
Teams are limited to only 5 random players per team.

Cheating:

If a team is caught cheating or promoting the use of cheats, then the player/players will be banned from the draft until the decision on punishment is decided and they will NOT recieve prizes if their team wins. We will add random players to replace the banned players to the team.

Crashes

If the room or server crashes, the team will re-create the room and notify a staff member. The round will then restart from 0.

Reporting Match Scores

Members of the winning team are required to take and upload a screenshot directly after the match and message a staff member the screenshot to continue moving on to the next round of the draft.

The entire team must also refrain from deleting video clips of their screen during the match in case a dispute presents itself and evidence is needed. These files can be deleted AFTER the draft ends.

All accounts participating in the draft will be reset after the draft and users will need to re-sign up for the site in order to participate in the next draft.

Mumble

The main voice program we will be using is Mumble. You can download it here:

You will be required to have Mumble in order to participate in the draft. This will be a key-essential for communication throughout your team. However, you are not required to have a mic.

Password protected channels will be provided to your team.

Anti-Cheat (AC):

All players will be required to record their screens during each match of the draft. Recordings can be in low res with low FPS. You will not be required to upload any video unless we ask to see it. Failure to provide video on ANY match will result in loss of that match.

How to set-up PT (Push to Talk)

1.) Click Configure -> Settings
2.) Audio Input -> Transmission -> Transmit -> Push to Talk
3.) Click Shortcuts on the left hand side
4.) Click 'add' then click Push to talk on the scroll down select list
5.) Modify it to whatever key you want to hit when you want to talk.
