In this game people with skills should win but with this suggestions they might lose for no reason. Well yes 5% are really low but not impossible.
Perhaps if the grenades were a 5% dud it'd be better -

A better way to stop the grenade spam in Egypt is to have an option to disable all grenades for the host. You can do it with flash/smoke grenades, so why not explosive grenades?
This idea will help with the grenade spam a little bit but other than that, it's pretty much pointless. -

Though it's not a very large chance that the grenade will explode, it thoroughly reduces the amount of explosions in a TDM match that has 12 minutes and 0 second respawn (which happens to be a LOT of rooms) -

Proportionately, keep in mind it only reduces 5% of grenades, which isn't a lot at all. -

It does however mean a lot more team kills, both nading yourself or your teammate. If you don't notice it's a dud and you stop moving at low HP, you could easily kill yourself without noticing. If you do notice it, then a teammate who doesn't runs along and gets himself killed, and he rages and kicks you.
And especially since it's 12 minutes, there will be a lot of team nading. The amount of grenades thrown in a 12 minute no respawn game is tremendous, and even a 5% chance would result in tons of nades dropped, and in turn, tons of team kills, meaning unfair and unnecessary punishment (another team kill added to your profile). Even though it is not too big of a punishment, it ruins the image for anyone that is checking your profile.
