So I found a camera on a train
It looked like a professional Nikon with loads of sd cards, must of been worth loads. After thinking about it.I got off at my stop and handed it over to the train driver.
Would you of done the same like me? I have to admit it was tempting to keep it. But my concious said no.

I did that.It was in a case ,which I searched through. I am not sure that i trust the driver though. -

Idk what it is with Anglo/European culture but why take something that doesn't belong to you? Stupid and uncalled for. Only a coward would do that. A real man tries to find who it belongs to.
'european'
yes people in US are so much better.. =p -

Would you of done the same like me? I have to admit it was tempting to keep it. But my concious said no.I probably would have checked his pictures first, just to feed my curiosity. Who knows what he has been taking pictures of. There could have been Playboy Bunnies on it, and you just handed them over without even looking at them. -
Looking back on it, after taking a leap of faith in trusting the driver. My only regret was that I didn't have a chance to include my number on a piece of paper. So just out of curiosity I would of been nice to of found out if it returned to its rightful owner. But then again, I am glad what I did.It just felt like the honourable thing to do.It feels like kind of some accomplishment to have resisted the devil in me.
Money would of have come in handy though. -
I've found an iPhone before on the London Underground. I gave it to the lost property section since I know the owner of the phone will have a chance of getting it back, however slim.
At other times I'd just keep the item if I deem I won't be able to find the rightful owner. I just don't like profiting off of other people's mishaps. -
I found (then it was a rather new model) Nokia cellphone lying in a pile of snow, when I was 12-13.
I did let it dry and then opened it and called to "mom", as she was named in number list. Phone was lost early December and it was March when I found it.
Got to keep that phone after that call, since her son had new phone already.
<*^_^*>
Generalizing is wrong and not all of us Europeans are bad people.
I got a prize for being honest.
Most probably if I'd found camera, I'd try to figure out first if I could find the owner and if not then would take it to police or lost property office.
