This post will be used for information relating to Cross Fire and the World Cyber Games! As more information becomes official we will be posting here to keep you guys informed of what's happening.
Please note that there seems to be a lot of random fake information floating around the internet about the World Cyber Games. Unless it's coming from WCG or one of official wcg partners, then take it with a grain of salt.

Cross Fire has been confirmed as a title for the World Cyber Games 2012 and is being held in Kunshan China!
Please note that the versions for CF have not been announced yet. When this happens we'll be sure to let everyone know which versions of CF will be represented and where everyone can go for Qualifiers and more!

I love crossfire and i hate to say this but, no team from this version will come close to winning wcg. The reason is simple, to many players pretend and act to be good, but in reality they are making or having someone make personalized cheats for them that are not picked up by xtrap. So when they finally make it to the top using these and its time in china and they dont have that autofire where all they do is just move there mouse and there gun fires at a certain target, hm yeah. They FAIL. There are so many pro players in this version, but they dont have a chance to shine because of these worthless no life dirty players. If CF could think about the outcome of a win in China instead of not banning players who spend zp. Just think a WIN in China saidin, all you have to do is talk to a few players and get to the bottom of this new abuse if cheating. If you do then you can say, Hey i made a difference and maybe be the one that helped the usa/can version of CF win in China. This took a lot out of me to put this out there, but its true, sometimes the truth hurts but if its spoken and dealt with the outcome can be positive.

hammertime had a chance, they just didn't do good in finals. -

Pretty sure all 4 teams in last years qualifiers cheated, that's what you tend to do when there's no anti cheat. -

Well this is [EvilCookie] o.o a.k.a Input. and yeah everyone cheats when they but when they go out there and get to china and shiit they cant cheat, hammertime won 2nd, recieved 6000$ and if they DID cheat in qualifiers, who cares, they couldnt when they were back there in Korea...and they did good, honestly, hammertime is beast...they cast themself playing and we see it, no cheat involved --' -
Hey guys, I'm one of the WCG Admins and I'm just posting this official announcement that has links to registration and what not below -
WCG USA has officially opened registration for the 2012 US National Finals Championship event. From now until September 3rd, WCG USA will be hosting two free online qualifying events, open to all U.S. citizens, that will qualify winning players/teams directly into the U.S. national finals, set to take place later this year. The winners of the U.S. National Finals will go on to represent Team USA at the 2012 WCG Grand Finals, taking place later this year in Kunshan City, China. The top finishers from each qualifying event will receive an auto-berth and travel stipend to the U.S. National Finals event. Registration for the online events has officially opened, and information on how to register can be found at http://us.wcg.com/?page=events
Registration for the first qualifier is closing very soon, so hurry up and get your spot reserved!!

Just a quick post here.
We'll be confirming what has already been posted about USA qualifier registration and such in a few moments.
We don't have CAN qualfier information just yet but it will be posted soon.
And there is no UK qualifier information that we can confirm at the moment. -

Top prizes gets an invite and an expenses-paid (full details on expense per-diem not confirmed yet) trip to the National Finals. -
USA WCG Qualifiers Sign Ups have been extended to 8pm Today.
Players looking to finalize their teams will have until this evening to lock in remaining details with their fellow teammates. Competitive matches will begin on Tuesday August 21st at 8pm Central Time. A Schedule and tournament brackets will be emailed to players tomorrow before the start of the tournament.
