I have download me Crossfire and installed and in the instalation opened my AnitVirus and it said once to us to me virus is why I have here still small video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48ItQIxicJg

What anti-virus are you running?

If it is kaspersky then this is a known bug that simply requires you to download an older version of the program.

I had to downgrade my version by only one or two, merely a month or so, so protection is not lost at all.

GL if you aren't using kaspersky.

I have the same problem and of what i see all with Mcfee have the same problem! i just turn off my antiviruz lol i will buy another next week

It's probably because of the X-Trap malware that is now bundled with CrossFire. In either case, you must allow it to install in order to play.

about 3 anti viruses are picking up Xtrap as a false positive. It is not a real virus of any kind and is safe. The same thing happened to game guard a few times a while back.
You are going to need to add an exception until they fix things on their end.

thanks i went into shock when i saw the anti viruse pop up then i thought of unistalling the game

i have avg, when i started the setup it said "crossfire.exe is infected" and i can't open the game, is the game really virused, help me pls

If it's AVG 9 you have to do the following:

AVG 9-->Resident Shield--->Manage Exceptions--->Add List
then you add Z8games file...

I am using avira anti-virus personal and it sayys theres a virus when i downloads the patch for the game.
and i dont wnna play like this coz i think is a virus though i saw many replys saying its not..
