Look passed that first line, Insomniac, for that was not directed at you. However, the rest DOES apply to you.

Unless you are going to consider the AK-47 overpowered, or every silent M4A1 overpowered, you can't say that a silent AK-47 is overpowered. Because it's either the gun or the suppressor that is overpowered, and not just the combination of the 2.

lol i see what you mean. but in fact i do consider every ak 47 overpowered and im just fine with that. however, we can agree that a suppressed ak would not be more OP than any other ak currently available

Indeed. It would just be an AK that is less noisy. And surely it will get some cons to counter-weigh the suppressor, making it the same balanced, or in your case, overpowered rifle it always was.

well the sound wont help you kill the person so it wouldnt make it OP to add that suppressor. it only would hide you alittle bit but not much.

The only place where a suppressor truly counts, is in GM. In SnD and other modes, you can still trace fire back to the shooter, even if you didn't hear the shot fired.

And like I said earlier, a suppressor on an AK-47 would benefit your team mates more than it would benefit you. The gun is still going to cycle loudly. You just won't hear the loud bang that comes with it so much.

oh yeah i hate it when they shoot with a AK.
you hear them kinda from where ever he is. also if you set it on 100 the sound then if he shoot that ak right next to you it blow up your ears. -_-

Morality

Patriot generally applies to American stuff like the m4. But Ak47 is usually depicted as a terrorist weapon, though it is a great rifle. So the name ak47 patriot is an oxymoron itself.
