The game freezes..

Hello guys, I am a new user and I wanted to start playing with Cross Fire. But there is a problem, because when I start the game from the icon on the desktop, the game starts quietly, but after two loads "Loading all textures ..." and "Effect Manager Initializing ...", the game freezes while loading "Inizialing Character Manager ...". So I am forced to close the game via the Task Manager (The process is "Not Responding") .. You know how to solve the problem? I'm an old player of the Beta and I would go back to playing!

Edit: I should add that my antivirus (NOD32) does not detect any virus, so it can't be to stop the game. I also configured the firewall properly, but the question is resurfacing!

NOD32 doesn't detect any anty-virus but try add game folder to white list. Maybe it's like Kaspersky/MCAfree - they ignore keyloger - crossifre.exe "unnamed file in my anty-virus" and just block it without any information.

Thank you for responding. I already tried to exclude the folder of the game from the scanner of Nod, but has not solved anything. it is strange because all other games work perfectly, so do not think it is a problem with the PC or the video card.

Try disable anty-virus for 10 sec... and try run game if it's doesn't help I don't have any idea. I can think about nvidia/ati drivers but I'm sure that this is not a problem;/
