You should add this to the current thread suggestions, not make your own.

I don't believe this ribbon would be added however... I could go and falsely report people and get 50 and win the ribbon way to easily...

No ribbon or rewards will be considered for actions that could lead to abuse.

This includes ribbons/rewards for post count (spamming), kick-voting (kick-vote abuse) or reporting (spam reporting and false accusations).

As Frecklez said they won't add a ribbon that is bound to cause abuse. You'd have people reporting anyone and everyone who did better than them in the hopes of getting the 50 reports successful for the ribbon.

It'll be like Military Intelligence except with reports.

I think i know what u are thinking of..

He is suggesting a ribbon to whom who reports people 50+ times.

But anyone can report ! soo why not

3 sections.

Volunteer: 0-10 reports succeeds
Moderator:11-30 reports succeeds
Punisher :50+ Reports succeeds.


that would be 3 ribbons! When i say succeeds i mean that your reports has worked they have been punished!

If you had read the posts you'd know what we're thinking. We're actually thinking about the stress it would put on the people who handle the reports, and how it would actually back-fire and make the system less effective than it already is. As it is it can take up to a week for a replay to be properly viewed once submitted. With these ribbons in place it'd increase the amount of replays being sent in 10 fold, thus causing the system to pretty much fail completely.

It would be just like when they released the military intelligence ribbon to try to get more players on the forums. It led to nothing but spam all over the place which clogged up the forums considerably. It'd do the same thing to the report system as has been said now four times in this thread.

it is not our job to not report because we think its going to stress them out! z8 clearly asks us to report! its who ever checking up on replays JOB! to do what they do! you know how much stress cops have! but they still do their jobs! there are lots of things they want to do but cant do! so basically this will promote people to report hackers if they see them! and it will make the community much better if more people send in replays.

Perhaps you should read what I said again... It takes a week for them to get to a replay some times because of the amount of replays they already have. A ribbon like this wouldn't make people report HACKERS more often. It would make people REPORT more often, they'd have more reports of legitimate players to cycle through, thus keeping them from DOING THEIR JOB and finding the replays of THE ACTUAL HACKERS rather than wasting time looking at replays of legit players ADDED SO SOME NOOB MIGHT GET A RIBBON.

If people were rewarded for calling 911, how many bogus crimes do you think would be called in? With the increased work load, how much attention do you think will go out to the real crimes?

Not a very good idea sorry there will report People who don't even hack just to get that ribbon.
