AWM discussion
The awm is personally my favorite gun. One shot kills is just original. Only thing is....ITS SO HEAVY AND THE RECOILLL IS TOO HIGH!@! No scoping with it is inaccurate, because the bullet bounces around in a random place. Reload time is too long, I use an anaconda if someone's close. This is my opinion guys, don't flame please.
What is your opinion about the awm? Don't flame please...

an ARTIC warfare magnum sniper rifle in Egypt makes me laugh. its a classic one shot kill but since it's so badass, the bullets you shoot when your not looking into the scope defy the logic of gun firing. "it's not my fault you can't shoot straight" with the AWM, thats true.
but im bored so w/e -

But I guess it's going to be in ZP, not gp :C

i love AWM pretty much, it can take out many enemies before running out of ammo, tried it on alaska, and im gonna buy it a day or another
but Dragg is cool too, is a one hit kill at med range and close range -

is a bolt-action rifle dude, if the AWM was semi-auto, i would ragequit -
heres the truth about snipers;
Snipers arent supposed to be a 1 hit kill. Snipers only 1 hit kill because they are trained to get critical hits. I argued how the M700 was one of the best SRs here because it had enough accuracy to land a critical shot, but the mobility, no scope, reload, mag size, etc, all was perfect.
The AWM here has 100% power and accuracy. But its horrible on the move, and cant no scope. Its useful in most sniper scenarios, where the M700 can be taken to almost any situation.
What it boils down to, however, is how you use your gun. if you play against me, you'll find I try to use my AWM (got it for 7 days in a crate) in CQC. You'll also find I try to snipe with a M9.
There is no best gun. Some are better in scenerios where others are poor. Very few weapons can be dubbed as "sucks". -

now someone who shares the same opinion as me
yep, real-life snipers are trained to land a critical headshot, not body shots
now, i just want to know if anyone knows whats the difference between a marksman and a sniper, cos most ppls are confused about this >_> -
a marksman is a man skilled in shooting at a target.
a sniper is a skilled military shooter detailed to spot and pick off enemy soldiers from a concealed place.
isnt a marksman supposed to follow the squad and to extend the effective range of the group with light 7.62x51mm sniper rifles
a sniper is, yeah, is operating in a concealed place on his own picking off valuable targtes with large caliber sniper rfiles for longer range -

um, i dont think they are actually trained to land headshots. i dont know about headshots but they are just trained to pick people off shooting at critical points, such as heart, head, etc etc. not just head. if cf introduced a setup where a shot to the heart= dead. i think no one would play anymore.
marksmen and sniper's diffrence is.. kinda sketchy but basicly marksmen can be anyone that can shoot well enough. a standered marine carrying m4/m16 would be a marksmen. snipers is someone with high ability to survive through anything, determination, and ability to pick off targets at a safe distance.
marksmen generally get your basic military training and then they can get shipped off to anywhere right away.
snipers have to take basic military training, and then go to sniper school where they will learn how the enviroment effects the bullet, do even more bushcraft aka survival skills. and then be shipped off. -
The awm is my favorite too. I love the power, the accuracy, and look.
I usually get the best ratio out of my team. Especially in places like monaco or powerplant. It is pretty heavy but i just go pistol till i find a spot and then i go to work. Amazing gun.
All though i do like the 700, psg and drag. I just think the AWM is crazy sweet. -
