Need help with m4a1-c

Well I bought it with coupons. I usually never EVER use it (I'm an AK47-scope user)
I never tried to master the guns I don't use, but today in scrims I enter the game with a Thompson in one bag and the m4a1-c in the other. I only use SMGs in GM so I decided I had to use m4a1-c. I sucked. Horribly. Then I said to myself "I have to be more diverse when using my guns."

Enough with the story of my life, give me tips please? And don't say aim for head because I miss or use it like a regular m4a1 because I haven't used one or own one.

Flame me all you want because it gets absorbed into my picture and makes me kill noobs like you faster

M4 Custom just sucks now. :P Just use a regular M4, like me XD

m4 is good, use the scope to aim head from long distance

If you can't aim at the head you shouldn't use M4.

Shoot in bursts of 1-3 in medium and long range, and spray in close range (duh).

My guess is that if you are used to using SMG's, you're probably also used to spraying. Like ninjaleetz said, short bursts at medium and long range. I don't spray at close range though. It's best to just aim for the chest and fire a slightly longer burst.

The scope, however, is less than useful.

If you cant aim for the head and have never used a m4a1 then just hold w and left click

If you can't aim for the head, then don't use the M4A1 Custom, just get a regular M4A1.

I agree with everying except what you said about the scope.
It can be real helpful for taking out snipers long range because of 1.5x zoom,
and the dot does not get in my way, as opposed to the g36k and xm8 scopes.

After the patch the m4 custom has become suckish.coz before patch i was master of m4 then wen i pick it up bam its sux.i have the reg m4 which i love.
